I paid over eighteen dollars for the worst meat, loaf, and mashed potatoes I've ever had in my life. I didn't take a picture because I just didn't want to leave that image in anyone else's head.
The service was really good. So, for that reason, I'm willing to go back at a much later date and try something different. Hopefully, I'll have a better experience and report to give.
The young light complexion, guy who serviced me, was very apologetic for the delay in service, and he brought my meal out to the patio waiting area to me. He was the only good impression I had of the visit.

I’m looking at the photos on this place and it looks radioactive 😭 I was curious about eating here bc it’s soul food and I’ve never had genuine soul food BUT THIS LOOKS RADIOACTIVE I am aware there are places with wayyyyy pleasant looking soul food dishes. That Mac and cheese was TOO BRIGHT.

I can't begin to explain in words exactly how delicious this food was I ordered oxtails mac and cheese collard greens and I had homemade banana pudding I can cook .... nothing that I ate could be replicated by me at all! It is refreshing to go somewhere where it just exceeds your expectations on how food should taste I guess I cannot explain how good this is. The meat was tender flavorful savory! Everything was slap your mama good!

I had the steak provolone, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken Alfredo is also fantastic, especially if you order it Cajun-style. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
My meatloaf looked weird and taste too thick with pieces of grissle in it or something. Cabbage had no taste or seasoning. Corn bread was a small muffin. And they didn't take card. Place looks nice. Maybe some of their other food is good but meatloaf was horrible.

I was laying in bed and started googling soul food near me. This place popped up and it was only 5 minutes from my house. I called and placed my order. When I got there my food was ready and the service was good. Now when I got home and tasted the food I was shook. I don’t find good soul food too often here in Detroit and this spot served me up just right 1o/1o RECOMMEND
