This food is absolutely disgusting. I’ve never had food such horrible in my life! I called up to this place of business before I even placed my order and asked if they had an ATM since it’s a all cash restaurant, the lady that answered the phone stated that there was an ATM. I came out of my way to eat here, I don’t live in Detroit. When I arrived I didn’t notice the ATM, the lady stated that she thought that I was a child playing on the phone. In my mind I would think that she would say no ATM if she didn’t want kids coming up to the restaurant playing. Now I had to drive and go located an ATM to come back and pay for my food. I paid $27 dollars for food that these cooks should have be embarrassed TO EVEN SERVE. the “ MOJO’S” sign should be taken down because yousiff would never!

They have THE BEST DAMN soul food on the west side !!!!!!!!!! Worth every penny , not along wait and you get a lot of food per serving . Highly recommended staff friendly and the cook is very handsome ladies lol

In my visit back to my hometown, coming from Louisiana there's no comparison. That Detroit Family Soul food on Schoolcraft is "The Bomb dot com!"I got the Smothered Turkey Chops with Collard greens and Mac & cheese. The dinner comes with cornbread and you can get Detroit's famous Fargo Red pop all at the great rate of $20. It was money spent and the meat was tender, tasty and oh so delicious. I will definitely be back to try something different from there full soul food menu. They even have burgers and sandwiches. My only issue was I didn't see a sign on the door, but I had the address. Go get you a plate and see for Yousef, They close at 8, tell em ML sent you! Southern Soul vs Detroit Soul is no comparison, they both Good!

Food quality definitely have fell them two old guys , can’t do it all he needs to re hire the rest of crew , no SOUL at all in it any more . NOTHING TASTES THE SAME . Go FIND A DIFFERENT PLACE BC MOJOS NOT IT ANYMORE ??♂️

The chicken, shrimp, and okra were extremely salty. So much salt, they were inedible. The spaghetti had an unidentifiable brown/burnt object in it and the yams were mushy. In addition to being very salty, the chicken and shrimp were also fried extremely hard. We wound up throwing the whole meal away.

We are from Arizona and was referred by one of our relatives about use of food. It was truly amazing given nine or 10. We ordered the smothered potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, collard greens, smothered pork chops, and pepper, steak and rice. Everything was good. Oh, and peach cobbler made me almost smacked my wife mama. Lmbo. Truly amazing guys good job. Money well spent.

Victory soul food is much better !The meat loaf was nasty and my candy yams weren’t all the way cooked . They over charge at this place for basic soul food and I was very disappointed. Will not be returning here .
