We were in the neighborhood for an event at Epiphany and were looking for a place to eat and have a drink before the show. We decided to try Zell's Corner based on the location and reviews, and I am so glad we did. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the corner bar atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. When we are in the vicinity again we will definitely be back for the food, cold beer and to say hello to our new friends.
Zell’s Corner is a neighborhood bar/restaurant located at Charlevoix and Seyburn. The ambiance is unique, as the interior has a nightclub vibe. Renovations are currently being done to the patio area. The corned beef egg rolls were absolutely delicious! The cheeses inside and sprinkled on top enhanced the overall flavor. So much so, the egg rolls didn’t even need a sauce for dipping. Stopped by here after visiting a friend who lived a mile up the road. Me and my two friends were greeted by who I only can assume was the owner or at least one of the owners. Very friendly. The rest of the staff there was equally friendly. Food was simple but made with care and was top notch. Exactly what I was looking for.
