Zo's Good Burger - New Center Detroit

Due to work, I've recently re-located near Zo's Good Burger. Excellent for lunch. I'm a little out of control because I've gone 3 days in a row! That's how good it is! 🍔

I visited Zo’s and got the food truck chicken sandwich, spicy, and Cajun fries. I ordered online and it said it would be ready at a specific time. I got there 5 minutes after the time and they said it wasn’t ready. The place was empty except for one person. I got my food and walked back to my room. Now if it was fresh when I got it, when I sat down to eat, it not longer was, not their fault I walked to my room before eating it, but if it wasn’t ready I would have expected it to stay warm a little longer then the short walk back.

But the sandwich was not good at all. It was bland— no flavor, and not spicy. I was deeply disappointed and wished I had salt. The fries were really good though. I wish their flavor was in the chicken at least then I wouldn’t be eating something that tasted like the oil needed to be changed and had an ounce of flavor. Whatever sauce they put on it did not salvage it. It’s sad because it could have been a good sandwich if made with flavor. I upgraded to the pretzel bun, cost more and a big mistake. It was a very tough bun, more so than the average pretzel bun.

The disappointment left me dissatisfied since the main part of my meal tasted like I was just eating for nourishment since it had absolutely no flavor.

So I spent $19 on a very bad meal. I should have gone across the street to McDonald’s.

Great little burger spot! Super clean inside and very friendly staff. Not to mention the burgers are delicious! They are cooked to order and come out right off the grill. I will definitely be visiting again soon :)

Got the Good Burger with the Cajiun fries. The burger was as advertised, good, and the fries were quality. The general feel of the place was quality, honestly if you're getting fast food anyway and you're in the area spring a bit more and get quality fast food at Zo's instead of paying almost the same thing at McDonalds.

I absolutely love this place! I eat it often atleast once a week from the mushroom Swiss burger 🤤 I inhale everytime and the original crispy chicken wrap I get with Swiss add mushrooms and no pickles.. it’s the best wrap I’ve ever eaten. I could eat it everyday. Trust me but I’d be broke it’s a lil over priced but worth it

The fish sandwich was good and rhe onion rings were very good. This may sound a little petty but I think I paid $5.99 for the rings and I only got 5 rings. So I paid like $1.55 for each ring.

Zo's Good burger home of the good burger come and place your order!!! Food always good here it's a must try type of restaurant... Don't take me review for it stop in today and try it out you won't be disappointed...

The cashier was friendly and polite. The food came up fast and hot. We got the fish sandwich, double cheeseburger with turkey bacon and turkey cheesy bacon fries. The food was mid. I had Zo’s in Dearborn years ago and it wasn’t better than that. It’s so many halal burger restaurants you have to come with flavor and originality. Love where the location is at. But I’ve had better from a burger food truck. My fish was dry and definitely reminds you of process food.

I am about a month behind on this review and I apologize to the proprietors because this place left a positive impression.
My husband and I visited to Detroit for literally less than 24 hours. He’s a long-time Piston’s fan, so we caught a game the night before. Cade earned 40 points and it was a bobblehead night. And BONUS, they won!
Before heading off to the airport, we wanted to get a good lunch after a long morning at the Henry Ford Museum, which i highly recommend while in Detroit to visit.
We looked on GM for great eateries and among a few Zo’s seemed and enticing for both my husband and me.
He got mozz sticks and fries and I got the bacon ranch chix wrap. Believe it or not, it was the best wrap I've had! Just the right amount of ingredients to the mayo. I kept mmm...mmm…! I made a point to tell the propriertors! Why not, it boost moral right!
Anyway, there wasn’t much of an atmosphere because it was mid-afternoon and no one aside from employees were in the place. However, I did take note at the constant cleaning. I love that!
OVERALL: I hope to make it back to Detroit, if not for Zo’s! Thank you for making a great wrap!

Great burgers

Nice place, but they always ruin it with the salt! I keep going back and trying, hoping the last time was just an overzealous cook, but it's always the same. No more chances.
