The sandwiches here are awesome and they used to have some of the best chicken tenders in Detroit, but it seems recently they traded those out for lower-quality chicken tenders with homogenized meat which is pretty disappointing
Rude staff
Couldn't even use my fake US Citizen ID card here, I paid good Canadian money for that fake. Shame on you
Never open when they say they will be.
They should wear gloves when dealing and serving people food.professional courtesy
Amazingly Clean and organized Gricery store and deli. Definitely have to try the menu
Food is ok, but the poor customer service and condescending attitudes make it a no for me
We were supposed to go to Harry's across the street but they were too busy we decided to go here for food before the game instead. Great selection in this little store, lots and lots of drinks as well as a huge hot and ready-made food selection. I got a pastrami sandwich and it was excellent. The ladies both at the hot food counter and the register were very friendly to us. I can't believe how cheap beer is in the states, and they had a great selection here! We will be definitely be back to grab a bite before our next wings game!
When I come downtown, I visit this place before I go to our company headquarters for meetings. So this is a place I had enjoyed visiting when I do come downtown. Upon my last visit, the lady with the short black blonde hair and with glasses interjected her comment when I wasn't even in conversation with her at all. I was asked by the counter attendant what kind of pizza I wanted and she spoke and greeted me with a smile. I saw that the supreme pizza was coming up and wanted two slices of that. Not knowing the couple behind me had the entire pizza. I was spoken too by the black blonde hair lady in a unprofessional manner. Her attitude and her statement saying, "that's not for you" was uncalled for as I wasn't even speaking with her. I could of made a scene and went there, but as a professional I try to pick my battles professionally. I am big on customer service and companies have to properly train employees on how to talk and interact with customers. Doesn't matter how old or young the worker is. You can't just say what you feel, especially when I was not talking to the lady with the blonde hair at all. Based on quite a few reviews already, it seems this is an ongoing issue with customer servixe from the deli area but my first ans possible last as I don't patronize bad customer service. You never know the type of customer coming in so be cordial, customer friendly and respectful. After the display of unprofessional behavior, I don't know if I want to patronize the deli portion of the store.
Don't Go! Guarante you'll get fleas if your in there for 1 minute!

Please note. This company strongly pushes the narrative for children to eat Pork. Everyone knows how disgusting and worm infested, and unclean pigs are. They do not even offer pizza slices without pork in it, they have no concern about children that don't eat pork, while they cater to Cass Tech Students, which are Muslim, and Hebrew Israelite, and Christian.
Great staff, awesome products. The slices of pizza are worth the drive (from Ferndale to downtown Detroit).
The Deluxe Pizza and sandwiches are pretty good at Zee Zee's BUT, BUT the prices have gone up a lot since last year and now it's not really affordable for me anymore. The food is still good there anyways and I would recommend
