Went there once again for a burger, and I will say that their burgers are very good, they are half pound burgers, which is a little larger than what I need, but that's what they are, but the thing that makes the food, the burgers over the top are the buns. I don't know if these things are homemade, or what they are, but they are fluffy and they are absolutely excellent. The service, this was a one-man show on the floor. This bartender, waiter, convenience store clerk...
Amazing burgers. Heard about them for some time and finally tried them. They are a must to try. Place is a bit of a dive, but that is part of the charm. Don't let the appearance fool you. It is clean and well run.
The food is excellent - one of the best olive burgers I've had, and the Bacon 3-cheese Philly did all three very well. The service is split - waitress was attentive and friendly, but the kitchen was unnecessarily slow. There's only about 8 tables, and it was 3/4 full. It doesn't take 45 min to cook a burger. The ambiance... well, it's a dark hallway in the back of a dingy grocery store. Nothing on tap, all bottles or cans, decent selection but nothing special....
