This place is solid. Food is wonderful, staff are friendly and owner is almost always there. Definately a place we love to go weekly.

We were able to be seated immediately... just barely beating the dinner rush. We chose to dine here based on their advertisement/support of the high school swim & dive team. My swimmer and I enjoyed our food and wait staff. The lower atmosphere grade comes from the cold draft that didn't seem to stop as other patrons came and went. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

After cleaning the truck and horse trailer, Min and I stopped in at Dexter's Pub (Dexter, Michigan) for breakfast. Min was dubious but the other breakfast restaurant had a 20 minute wait, so into the pub we went. OMG, food was 10 out of 10. Min waxed enthusiastically claiming it was one of the best breakfasts she ever had. She had Huevos Rancheros that was beyond better than any she'd ever had. I ordered a spinach and mushroom omelet. It came with perfectly done hash browns and locally baked artisan bread. The waitress was so cheerful and accommodating. The pub doesn't have coffee drinks, just regular coffee; however, since we wanted a mocha she added chocolate syrup to the coffee and brought us a cup of milk to add to our taste. Apparently, though they have a regular menu, the brunch menu is offered on weekends and will be different each weekend. They obviously go above and beyond to make it great.

There was a sign at the front indicating they were short staffed. Same sign I saw a month ago. The table was sticky and never wiped while we were there. The food was okay. My cheese burger with no malaise, of course came with Mao and missing the cheese. Nice staff, maybe just overworked. I would go somewhere else if you are visiting.
