Dexter Pub is the best. I’ve been going there since I was a kid, and I go there with my parents a lot. The food is amazing and Peter is just the nicest guy. It’s the best place in Dexter to get food.
Edit 11/2/24: my husband, son, and I went to the Pub after trick-or-treating on Halloween and the hostess was extremely rude. When she sat us to our seats, she slammed the menus on the table, gave me a dirty look, and said “here you go.” I won’t change my rating, only because we like Pete and we eat there all the time. But that hostess needs a serious attitude adjustment or I will have to say something next time she’s rude.

The food was average. We got the fish and chips, Sunday brunch hippie hash, and kids Mac n cheese. Nothing was spectacular; the kids Mac and cheese was just Kraft. The service was great though despite them saying they were understaffed. The atmosphere felt like a small town pub.

Kid-friendliness: very good christmas decor! very kind staff, good kids menu.
Server was busting her butt. Food was terrible, friend with an extreme dairy allergy was served dairy after explicitly requested no cheese on her salad. Salad arrived with trace amounts of cheese on the salad. And then was gaslight by the manager saying there was no cheese on the salad. They also served us moldy vinegar, and the manager blamed it on his staff.

I went back today, and the bartender looked right at me and went about her business. And did not ask me if I wanted anything. So I watched her write on the chalkboard. After about 15 minutes, a male waiter told her I was sitting there for a while, and he helped me, not good service for a new customer.

Got here near closing time for them and the service was great. They have a good food and and drink selection. My only issue was the noise I could barely hear my sister who was sitting right next to me. Otherwise a great place to go.
