Menu on line does not reflect actual prices. Onion soup good, but had to be sent back for more heat. French dip ok, could use some horse radish. Onion Rings were dark brown to black, replaced with a fresh order at request. Server was good and apologetic for food problems which were not her problem.

Great looking place. Our chicken sandwiches were ok (fries were cold), but my son's Ravioli sat in a plate of water. Our server wouldn't even bring us an extra plate for my son's fries, we had to put them on a napkin. We were visitors, and this won't be on our return list.

I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce...I asked about the sauce what was in it.. she said they make it from scratch and put cloves in it... the more I ate it the less I liked it... ditch the cloves and add Italian seasoning and some basil.

Their pizza is pretty good, not as good as Ambassador. We went on a date night while visiting from Florida. The steaks were not good - ribeye not seasoned, filet thin and overcooked. They refired so I ate the mushy side of spaghetti with half a spoon of sauce they gave - i.e. not great. The new steak wasn’t seasoned at all. Really poor service and way overpriced. Waited for a long time for drinks, etc. For the same price we went to the Harbor Haus and had an excellent meal. Honestly, zero stars, except for their pizza.

What a great Upper Peninsula gem! Leurie was a great bartender/server who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The food was fantastic. Best French onion soup I’ve ever had!

Prices were higher than posted online, the filet was good, but the ravioli was very bland. My filet w/baked potato and mixed veggies came on a very small plate with absolutely no room to cut my steak, let alone my baked potato. My waitress was very personable and did an excellent job.

The atmosphere was that its only a place for locals. The stuffed mushrooms were great but the cheesesteak looked like rehydrated jerky on a sandwich and the bread so dry it tasted like it was a week old. We heard good things, but will never come back. Had to ask for napkins, never got silverware, and sat right next to the bathrooms (gross).
Fish dinner was delicious! We’ve been here a few times and haven’t had anything bad yet!

We were at little disappointed with the service or lack of it. I was standing just waiting to be acknowledged. I knew they were busy, but there was several waitstaff and bartenders and nobody even acknowledged I was standing there and waiting to be seated. We ended up leaving.

Got the baked lake trout and almondine whitefish. Highly recommend. French onion soup was superb and the broccoli cheddar was good, not superb. Did not have cottage cheese 😔
