Wouldn't recommend after new ownership! Burnt food, incorrect orders, downsized portions, and simply no flavor. Take out has forgotten items on many occasions and they've cut back on sides ( no more salsa and chips with burrito) Use to be favorite place. Avoid spending your money!

Mario’s has been a staple in our lives for 40+ years. Tried and true menu and staff. Sadly, since the change of ownership, things are slipping. Wait times have increased but we’ve been patient as everyone is struggling with that. A few subtle menu changes, which was expected with new ownership, but disappointing when it is a favorite item that changes. The most recent disappointment is the change of the nachos supreme recipe - a huge menu go-to for us. It now consists of dried out beef, about 5 pieces of lettuce and a HEAP of black olives (yuck). It was perfection before… Absolutely dreading a pizza recipe change! I’ve waited a while to write this review, but it’s this time to say it like it is: It has changed and not for the better. ?

Could be a great restaurant and they need to worry because Olive Garden is opening soon, only two miles away. However, Sunday night October 22, was a disaster. The restaurant advises being open from 4 pm to 8 pm on Sunday, but they turned out the entrance lights and the open sign at 7:15 pm. Customers were turned away. My wife order feta chine alfredo and at 7 pm they were out of feta chine noodles. How can that happen. Finally, I asked if I could substitute soup for salad even with a slight up charge. A flat no from the Manager on Duty. This place has a full liquor license and could do very well with creative management. It has plenty of parking. I live in the City of Holland.

We were there last night around 7. It took over 40 minutes to get a seat. There were 2 empty tables that they never sat anyone at until later when it wasn't so busy. Then a large table in right front of the register left and it took them over 15 minutes to clear it (with 5 groups waiting for a table). There were more than 3 people standing around looking at it but ignoring it needed to be cleaned so we were going to offer to do it ourselves. When we were finally seated the waitress complained about how busy it was (you would think they would love that). We did like the pizza because we don't love a ton of sauce. We have been to Mario's a ton in the past but will think twice about going back.

Do not go here if you want your food the same day!!!!!! As i write this my husband has been waiting 30 minutes for a pizza we ordered 90 minutes ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! their pizza is great but i don't know how they stay in business. It's a shame because it has changed hands recently and they will never make it with this kind of service. It has now been an hour and 40 minutes and they just gave him our pizza!!!!!!

I ordered a 12” and received something I didn’t order. The manager was very angry and rude telling me no refunds and to leave. I will never go back.

Everything on the menu is great and my favorite is the chorizo omelette

The team at Mario’s was fantastic helping me pull together a large pizza/salad/breadsticks take-out order for a swim team banquet on fairly short notice. They made perfect recommendations on quantities to order for our group size and when I picked up the order it was perfectly packed and ready, complete with all the plates, plastic ware and napkins we would need - and then some! And it was delicious! Our hungry swimmers, coaches, and parents loved it! I’d go back in a second to dine in or take out . It’s a pleasure to support a great business that offers great food and exceptional service with a positive, can-do attitude. Thank you, Mario’s!!

I had the 3 Breakfast Tacos with Chorizo and it was delicious. The pico is excellent and has a nice kick to it. My husband loved the White Chicken Chili and Burrito. We will be back!
