We started on the patio with our dog - enjoying the sunshine and live music. We did cocktails while we waited for a table (no reservations here), amusing ourselves by watching the a lively bachelorette party. Sharing plates restaurant with original and delicious dishes on the menu. Portions are generous. They offer some daily specials as well as unique cocktails. The service is impeccable but friendly. Nice wine options also. Definitely recommend this place.
We were recommended by our server from Duck Alley to check out Borrowed Time in Douglas, MI which is right by Saugatuck. The menu looked good so we were excited to try. Started off with a mezcal-based drink as well as some deviled eggs which today’s filling also had miso in there. The butternut squash soup had the perfect texture and was rich and creamy. The duck egg fried rice had a little Korean flare with the kimchi adding some kick. My favorite dish that we tried though...
