We waited about 30 to 35 minutes for a table on Sunday, which is reasonable for the weekend crowd. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with poached eggs and a side of sausage, while my boyfriend had the chicken sandwich with fries. My meal was excellent overall with great flavor, though the poached eggs were slightly overcooked and not fully runny. Unfortunately, my boyfriend didn’t enjoy his meal; his fries arrived cold, and the chicken sandwich was below average. It may be best to stick with breakfast items here. The coffee was good and frequently refilled. Prices were a bit high for the portion sizes, but that’s to be expected in a tourist area.

The burgerstance is the best sausage burger I've had anywhere, hands down. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant is clean, bright and inviting. The noise level was a little high at times, but we were still able to carry on a conversation.

My chicken sandwich was very good and they had decent gluten-free bread, udies. The service was okay but rather slow. I think they only had one waitress for the whole place, indoor and outdoor seating. She did well but we did wait quite a while for our food. Cute place, I would go back. Their menu was very interesting.

Happystance is a fantastic brunch spot. The biscuits and gravy were amazing, and the cinnamon rolls perfectly soft and sweet. Portions are generous, ingredients fresh. The atmosphere paired with welcoming staff makes it a must-visit.

The meal I got was okay. The herb potato’s I got tasted like dry frozen potatoes. The potatoes had some sort of green herb but no flavor at all. Not even a lick of salt. I also got a breakfast sandwich which was good but just as good as McDonald’s. The sauce though was very good! The service was not great. I felt like there was no communication about when coffees were coming. Then my friend, who is pregnant, never got a refill on her water. It was poor service especially for a pricey brunch. We also had a group of 9 which luckily half of our part didn’t show up, because they sat us at two different tables. So not a good place for big groups.

This was a nice breakfast find. It's a notch above typical breakfast diners. Items are homeade ... which is a bonus. My buttermilk pancakes were delish. My husband loved his sausage links w eggs. Also some tasty raspberry spread for his cheesy biscuit... which I ate w my pancakes. Great cup of coffee too.

Sat outside on a gorgeous summer morning. Food was scrumptious, service was very friendly and coffee was delicious. Highly recommend!! Will definitely come back next time we are vacationing in Douglas.
We enjoyed the Eggs Boobington (eggs Benedict- yum), the biscuits & gravy (just amazing!) and the banana bread (no photo because we ate it while it was still warm off the griddle)
