if you love home town cooking then this is the place...I've been here several times and never been disappointed great food,good prices and awesome atmosphere two thumbs up a must try if you are ever in Dowagiac Michigan
We came in for lunch yesterday on a Saturday afternoon, it was very very good! our burgers were huge, tasty and hot. I got the fries with mine, my friend got the onion rings. Everything was made to order, but came fast of the grill and steaming hot. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We have been here for breakfast several times, the bacon is great, eggs come out perfect and the biscuit and gravy is tasty.
My husband and I ate here for the first time today because we recently moved to the area and love trying the Mom-n-Pop stops. I will say that this place has some of the best bacon around, hands down. I ordered the country fried steak breakfast and the steak seemed to be a little rubbery. I think that this diner is known for doing their meat "well done" though because a lot of regulars there prefer it that way. I'll know for next time when I try the NY Strip breakfast...
