On the bar side there are plenty of huge screens, but there is also a dining room side that doesn't have all of the distractions if that's what you're looking for. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large.“

“We drive 52 minutes to eat here while passing many other Mexican food options. We actually stumbled upon it on our way to vacation in St Clair last October. We have been back 5-6 times since. It really is worth the drive and has become our favorite Mexican restaurant. Very friendly staff. Very clean restaurant. Amazing fresh food.“

“How was this place not packed on a Saturday afternoon? We’re from Texas and at first my husband didn’t want to eat here because he didn’t want to be “disappointed” when their BBQ didn’t stack up to what we’re used to. We decided to try it anyway and I’m SO glad we did! We started with the Beer Cheese Tots. They were phenomenal! We’ve had our fair share of “soggy” tots. It can happen when you drench them in cheese but these tots were crunchy to the last bite. Topped with beer cheese and green onions, we couldn’t stop eating them! My husband ordered the Brisket French Dip. He said it was delicious! I ordered a Two Meat BBQ Tray with two sides. I chose Mac&Cheese and Loaded Potato Salad. My brisket was thick with a beautiful smoke ring. It was fork tender and super yummy. My pulled pork was great as well. The star of the show was the mac&cheese! Honestly, I’m as picky about my mac&cheese as I am about my BBQ. I was honestly expecting the usual bland dish put out by most restaurants, but to my great surprise this was not the case! This dish was cheesy and garlicky and hit the spot! Easily one of my favorite versions of Mac&Cheese! The potato salad was good for Mayo potato salad. Being from the south, I whole heartedly believe all potato salad should be mustard based, but I get food isn’t the same everywhere so I let that slide. 🙂 Honestly, the waitress did disclose that it wasn’t mustard based before I ordered it, so I knew exactly what I was getting. One kiddo ordered the kids sliders, another ordered a grilled cheese and the third ordered an adult salad (he’s obsessed with salads right now). They all said their food was yummy and the salad kid was literally trying to shovel it into his mouth so as not to leave any behind. 😂 The portions were HUGE and after taking home leftovers, my BBQ plate has fed me for three full meals! The staff was super nice, the drinks were great, the music was right up our ally and we had a fantastic time here. I’m still shocked that this place wasn’t packed! If you haven’t tried this gem, do it now! We’re staying about 45 min south of Almont, but are seriously considering a second trip up just to eat here again before we go home!“

“We’ve always had good food and service any time we’ve been here. It’s exactly what you’d expect. But today there was a server(not even ours) who went out of her way to make my young sons(2&4) feel special. With a random act of kindness. When I told my son that I didn’t have any cash for the duck claw machine, she overheard and had pulled a pair of singles out of her book for my sons to “win” a duck. I didn’t accept it, because we have too many toys as is, and my wife generally keeps a little cash(which my son begged from her). I didn’t her name, but I hope her manager sees this. She is a lovely young woman 5ft(ish) with medium brown hair in 2 long braids.“
