“Red Knapps is a good comfort food restaurant with some surprisingly wonderful, more formal dishes to offer as well. This is our go-to place when nothing else appeals to us. The atmosphere has a genuinely tasteful feel with paneled walls, coved ceilings, and large pictures of horses here and there. The bar area is often well attended, and I believe that televised sports are on the televisions.
Wait Staff is ALWAYS very nice, pleasant, and efficient. There has never been a time that we've been disappointed or unhappy with our service nor our food.“

Large portion sizes on meals, reasonable pricing, good service and atmosphere, and big portions. The customers are usually friendly and fun too. The tap list has plenty of options, including seasonal craft beers. What else could you want from a bar?“

“I have been coming to the silver grill for many years. I was coming as a child with my family and it's just been a favorite place of mine so I keep on going. They have worked around my dietary needs while I breastfed. They have always been very welcoming and friendly every visit.“

“Was there on a recent Friday around 5 for our first time visit. Thought it was a very nice venue. Our server was Avery who was very attentive, personable and efficient. Started out with some libations from their extensive selection. Wife had a Pacifico and while I wouldn't normally order something like this, I was intrigued by the Sweet and Sour Watermelon Margarita and ordered one which was a presentation to behold and quite tasty. Wife got the 3 tacos American style, myself the Mexican pizza, both pronounced very good. From some of the language coming from the kitchen it seems you're getting the real deal. Started to get a little crowded by the time we left but couldn't say it was overly loud. We enjoyed our time and will be back!“

“How was this place not packed on a Saturday afternoon? We’re from Texas and at first my husband didn’t want to eat here because he didn’t want to be “disappointed” when their BBQ didn’t stack up to what we’re used to. We decided to try it anyway and I’m SO glad we did! We started with the Beer Cheese Tots. They were phenomenal! We’ve had our fair share of “soggy” tots. It can happen when you drench them in cheese but these tots were crunchy to the last bite. Topped with beer cheese and green onions, we couldn’t stop eating them! My husband ordered the Brisket French Dip. He said it was delicious! I ordered a Two Meat BBQ Tray with two sides. I chose Mac&Cheese and Loaded Potato Salad. My brisket was thick with a beautiful smoke ring. It was fork tender and super yummy. My pulled pork was great as well. The star of the show was the mac&cheese! Honestly, I’m as picky about my mac&cheese as I am about my BBQ. I was honestly expecting the usual bland dish put out by most restaurants, but to my great surprise this was not the case! This dish was cheesy and garlicky and hit the spot! Easily one of my favorite versions of Mac&Cheese! The potato salad was good for Mayo potato salad. Being from the south, I whole heartedly believe all potato salad should be mustard based, but I get food isn’t the same everywhere so I let that slide. 🙂 Honestly, the waitress did disclose that it wasn’t mustard based before I ordered it, so I knew exactly what I was getting. One kiddo ordered the kids sliders, another ordered a grilled cheese and the third ordered an adult salad (he’s obsessed with salads right now). They all said their food was yummy and the salad kid was literally trying to shovel it into his mouth so as not to leave any behind. 😂 The portions were HUGE and after taking home leftovers, my BBQ plate has fed me for three full meals! The staff was super nice, the drinks were great, the music was right up our ally and we had a fantastic time here. I’m still shocked that this place wasn’t packed! If you haven’t tried this gem, do it now! We’re staying about 45 min south of Almont, but are seriously considering a second trip up just to eat here again before we go home!“

“We’ve always had good food and service any time we’ve been here. It’s exactly what you’d expect. But today there was a server(not even ours) who went out of her way to make my young sons(2&4) feel special. With a random act of kindness. When I told my son that I didn’t have any cash for the duck claw machine, she overheard and had pulled a pair of singles out of her book for my sons to “win” a duck. I didn’t accept it, because we have too many toys as is, and my wife generally keeps a little cash(which my son begged from her). I didn’t her name, but I hope her manager sees this. She is a lovely young woman 5ft(ish) with medium brown hair in 2 long braids.“
