Really enjoyed the food. Was disappointed to be charged extra for using a credit card. I’m not sure if they use premixed eggs for their omelette. We also had biscuits and gravy that were excellent. We will visit again. Also the coffee tasted good.
I grew up in southern Michigan eating Coney Island hot dogs long before I was old enough to know that there is an actual place called Coney Island (eventually I got there in the 1980s and I rode the old wooden roller coaster- terrifying). Coney dogs were a treat at the mall and, in my drinking days, a great treatment for hangovers. Main St Coney Island has all of that in a warm local atmosphere, an efficient and friendly staff and fair prices. Long live the Coney Islands of Michigan.
There was absolutely nothing negative about this restaurant. I do not review things that often, but this place REALLY deserves to be known about. The waitress was so sweet. She forgot my drink at the beginning, but I was also with 8 other people so I can easily forgive her for that. Plus, within 10 minutes our food was out and was AMAZING for such a quick prep. This is an awesome place to stop for a quick meal; I'd say that it's the BEST place to stop for the ideal quick...
