Husband and I came after dinner. The hostess was a little snippy. Luckily our waitress was great! It was a little pricy! $50 with tip and only waters! Enjoyed appetizers... Cauliflower, chili cheese fries and the sampler. Their chili is BBQ based. Not bad, different than what we are used to. Loved the fries! The cauliflower was good. Enjoyed the potato skins and onion rings... very good! The chicken wings were very good! Was not impressed with their cheese curds though! Will come back to try some of the other stuff as well.

Nick's Hometown Grill holds a special place in my memories as one of the most iconic spots from my childhood. The food used to be absolutely amazing, and it was always a highlight to visit.
Unfortunately, ever since the original owner passed away, the quality has noticeably declined. It’s clear that the restaurant is cutting corners, and the food just isn’t what it used to be. It’s disappointing to see such a beloved place lose the charm and excellence that made it so special.
While it’s still a piece of nostalgia for many, Nick's Hometown Grill would benefit from regaining the attention to detail and quality that once made it great. I hope they can turn things around and honor the legacy of what it used to be.

Great place to eat, good prices, the fish dinners are awesome. To bad the service isn't up to par. There's been times I've been in there and only 2 booths, 2 people in each one and I hafta wait for my waitress for 20 minutes for another beer or keno while the staff is to busy talking standing 4 ft away from me but I hafta wait for MY waitress for something. The beer cooler and the lottery machine is also 4-5 ft away also. Kinda rediculess don't you think?

Parking: Downtown Durand, nice place to eat and drink if you can get served.

This is the first time being there. The food was great. I had a mushroom swiss burger with onion rings. I don't usually get a burger, but I'm glad I did it was really good. I was only able to eat half of it as it was so big. The onion rings weren't over breaded or over cooked. The big plus they actually had a good taste. I would definitely go back.

To my suprise for a little place the food, people and just over all feel of this place actually was pretty good! Our waitress was very nice and our wait for our food was not LONG at all....I personally ordered the southwestern chicken salad and my chicken was burned so they sent me another one and Im so glad they did because it was so good!!!! Hands down probably the best salad Ive ever had!!!! I would def recommend going again :) thank you for making our night....
Excellent food and service. We had a wedding rehearsal dinner at Nick's and there were 20 of us and the staff was flawless! Food came out one after another and everyone's food was hot. Great Job by the kitchen staff and servers
