“Tonight: Combination Fish(wet batter) and Shrimp with Onion Rings. I have tried the dry fish and the fries. Not a complicated menu, which means you expect some basic skills preparing about 6 items. All things done well, REAL WELL! The cole slaw is pretty darn good, also. Pick-up waiting reminds me of real "sit down" Friday Fish Fries. About 5 minutes of Socially Distant chatter waiting for your order. I am curious about protocol for non members having a beer waiting for take out. “To the driver who delivered food to the apartment above the bar in bancroft about 15 minutes ago, I’m sorry for upsetting you so greatly today. I told you I would do my best to watch for your car, however, I missed you. I thought that might happen, since I have a limited view out of my front facing windows. Because of this, I gave you my phone number to call in case I didn’t see you pull in. I only learned of your arrival when my manager called me from the bar downstairs to let me know you were there. Upon meeting you downstairs, you very angrily informed me in front of my patrons and coworkers that you had been blaring your horn at me from the alleyway (which silly old me couldn’t hear from my apartment that is indeed upstairs and indoors) and you had sent me a text (which I never received). I’ve had pizza delivered here many times from hungry howies and no one has ever had an issue giving me a quick call to let me know they were there. Anyway, as someone who works as a server, I completely understand that the service industry can be very frustrating. I truly hope that whatever is going on in your life that made you so angry and rude today resolves itself. Cheers. I will be back 😊”

“They need to give the one girl who is the only person working a raise and get more people in to work. It's been a couple times I have come in and she is working the lunch rush and she did great staying calm and trying her best to get through in store customers, online orders and the drive thru customers. She said she has only been there for a few weeks now but she is doing great. Smiling and staying positive even when she has a ton of people.”

“We had ordered food for my daughter‘s brunch style bridal shower. We ordered the egg bake, French toast bake, sausage links, bacon, fruit and veggie tray along with ham , turkey and veggie, roll up tray. All the food was excellent!! The pick up of the food and warmers was easy and flawless. Highly recommend!! Everyone was so nice and helped load everything too!! Will be ordering from them again!!”

“Defying Gravity Bakery in Corunna is basically dangerous… because once you go in, your self-control stays in the parking lot. If you need a cookie fix — this is the place. Their cookies should probably come with a warning label because they disappear faster than snow in April. And the cheesecakes… I’m not exaggerating when I say they are the BEST I’ve ever had. Smooth, rich, and somehow magically gone before you realize what happened. Today was my first time trying their lunch menu and WOW — homemade sandwiches that actually taste homemade (not the sad gas-station version of “fresh”). Seriously good. Bonus points for carrying Michigan Cherry BBQ chips from Great Lakes Potato Chip Co., which might be the greatest chip ever created in the history of snacks. I will not be taking questions at this time. Awesome local spot, great food, and definitely worth stopping in — just don’t blame me when you start making regular trips”

“i called in a $31.99 order on November 18, 2022. It also had a personal size birthday pizza with it. When I hot home I noticed all 3 of my pizzas were burnt. I called in asking if they got new ovens because all 3 of my pizzas were burnt. I received an apology...but not even an offer to fix my order. My family couldn't even eat the whole slices of pizzas. It was very disheartening that my family couldn't enjoy the pizzas I picked up for my birthday”
