“Breakfast at Shirley’s is always a great experience! My hubby and I go there often. The moment you walk in, it feels like family. The atmosphere is friendly and the decor reminds me of my dad 🥰 whom I miss dearly. It’s like the show CHEERs—a place where everyone knows each other. I cannot speak highly enough of the serving staff and the nice young man that clears and sets up the tables. The food tastes like true home cooking, made with care and attention. Everything is made fresh and made to perfection. You can really tell that a lot of love goes into every plate. Thank you to the amazing kitchen team working behind the scenes! If you’re looking for a cozy breakfast spot that feels like family and serves delicious home-cooked food, Shirley’s is definitely the place to go; you will not be disappointed. “Love going to the brewtique to get a delicious beverage and snack! we run Shiawassee River Shuttle, so we are always getting people in and out of kayaks in the area. Even in the off season, the indoor seating is great to focus and get a little work done. Love Heather and Adam, they're the best ❤️”

“Made a few stops in the Linden MI area and decided to enjoy lunch before heading home. This vintage hotel has a nostalgic feel with old fashioned wood paneled walls, bar and stairway. Lunch was a wonderful surprise from the home baked sandwich breads to the creamy cheesy broccoli soup. The waitress was very attentive and gracious. The food portions were simply perfect for an afternoon lunch and the prices were totally reasonable. Hight satisfied and highly recommend!”

“I placed a large order for the local high school football team and the staff at Hungry Howies were more than accommodating! They opened early and had 5 large pizzas, & 2 breadsticks ready before they even opened! They included all napkins, plates, cups etc. They definitely went above and beyond!”

“Drive thru town the other evening and he was getting a bit “hangry” so we stopped into the neighborhood Subway for some dinner. The young man behind the counter was on his own, when most would be a bit testy left like that this employee was not! He proceeded to take those lemons and make himself some lemonade! But of course, the cookies are the real star of the show. I love the fact that every week they change things up to give you some variety. I definitely recommend the carrot cake cookie!
