Hit or miss. Would get there early if hoping for something specific. Some of the prices are crazy. The ginger walnut bread is pretty awful and I wasnt aware it was soaked in brandy til after I bought it. I tried it and threw the entire loaf away. :(

Just received my traditional Fruitcake from Poorrock Abby moistened with rum. Had a piece tonight with coffee( now it seems like Christmas. Best Fruitcake in the Country! Nothing compares. Thanks again Society of Saint John!

The monks make a lot of baked goods along with specialty jelly and jam.
Check hours and be prepared that at times there is a good sized line.

Popular place for a reason. The monks who make the food and run the shop are very pleasant. The baked goods are delicious. We bought enough to eat as breakfast in our motel each morning while watching the sunrise. Perfect way to start the day. The Jamaican loaf does pack a punch and is tasty. The peanut butter and jelly brownie was interesting (in a good way). We haven't tried a our jams yet but are looking forward to it. All items are made with natural and/or organic ingredients.

CanNOT, not make a stop at Jampot when in the area. Close to Jacob’s fall, worth the wait in line, service is always top notch and the bakery!!! Oh my!
We stocked up on our jams: thimbleberry, choke cherry, & pin cherry… Purchased some fabulous fruitcakes, enjoyed a fresh out of the oven apricot muffin, and the kids tried the habanero caramels.
Always! Always! Make time to include a stop here.
Apricot muffin went straight down the hatch - but here are some Big Lake shoreline photos from nearby the Jampot!

Definitely worth the stop! The line was out the door, but I got through the line within about 30 minutes.

The ginger walnut cake was awful — we had a slice each and threw out the rest. The carrot cake was okay at best. For what they’re charging for these they should be be much tastier. I’d have just donated some money than to have paid for such badly tasting food.
