“The Jampot is truly one of those special places that you have to experience when visiting the Keweenaw Peninsula! Tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful setting, even the drive there is part of the experience.

Everything we bought was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh and homemade. The baked goods were incredible, and there was such a great selection of jams, breads, cookies, and other treats. It’s definitely difficult to walk out without bringing several things home!

What makes the Jampot even more memorable is the unique story behind it and the beautiful surroundings. It feels like a hidden gem tucked into the woods of the Keweenaw. If you’re exploring the peninsula, make sure you add the Jampot to your list. Great food, a beautiful location, and a truly unique Upper Peninsula experience. “Comfort food luxury with an unexpected twist. The stack of firewood ( for the smoker) that greets your arrival hints at (and delivers) a superb dining experience. The ambiance is cozy rustic with nautical accents and a memorable view of Lake Superior. Cocktails are artful, as are the wine and beer offerings. The Brussel sprout salad with home-smoked bacon and house-made dressing was incredible. The ribs are generous, tender, smoky and accompanied by house-made spicy-sweet BBQ sauce with a hint of citrus. Vietnamese influences appear in some dishes and this evening, even in a Vietnamese Tiramisu! What an imaginative and satisfying dining adventure. Make reservations to ensure your table is available.”
