One of the best restaurants and views in Michigan!
Showed up here on snow wheels to get turned away because we did not have reservations then I find out reservations cost $10 per person ahead of time for a place that’s right on the snowmobile trail and no other restaurants around in the area, they are sure pretty adamant about not accommodating snowmobilers Good thing to know now that we won’t ever be back.

*Warning* Easy to over eat here. And be so full you are basically don’t for the night. But i will do it again the very same way. Two appetizers. Entree. Order the desert to go but eat it there.. !! Great spot at the very tip top of michigan. Must try it! Must go to this area. Very cool.

The udon noodles are my favorite thing on their menu, they are always so full of flavor! The 5 layer chocolate cake was amazing. The atmosphere here is really good; The candlelight at the tables, the woodwork, and the large windows that look out onto the water really add to the experience.

I had one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had here. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and personable and made us feel very special. My group got an order of Gouda Mac and cheese with smoked pork belly that was incredible and the special, fennel crusted scallops on risotto that was truly one of the best things we’ve ever eaten. The scene directly on the shores of Lake Superior is picturesque and creates great ambience. I could not recommend this place enough to anyone and cannot wait to return.

Excellent food, great drinks, rotating menu offerings, and an awesome view of the Lake Superior shoreline. It's a bit expensive for the area, but worth it 100%.

Let me just say, this is the best restaurant in the Keweenaw and maybe even in the UP. I moved to the UP from Seattle in 2024 and I have been highly impressed with the caliber of food here. If the James Beard ever came to the UP, this place would definitely win. It reminds me of eating in Seattle in regards to the quality of the food but in a small town setting. This place is an absolute gem. Stop reading reviews RIGHT NOW and hurry up and make a reservation to this place. I consider myself a foodie and I have never had anything from here I didn’t love.

Stopped in for dinner while we were staying in town and was lucky enough to get the last open table for the night. All the food was amazingly good. We had Hush puppies, the Brisket and Godu Mac n cheese, both were super tasty. Our server Joel was friendly and attentive to whatever we needed. We timed our dinner perfectly for after eating, we were able to sit on there deck and watch the sunset.
Definitely a must visit if you're in the area, just make sure to book a table before hand, for u may not luck out like we did.

I saw some of the more recent reviews mention that this place isn't like it used to be. This was our first time and everything was excellent! We came here on recommendation and were extremely happy with everything. The view is awesome here, especially for sunset. Food was great. The bramble cocktail was fantastic. Will definitely be back. Pecan pie was some of the best I've had.

Very good food, definitely a chef behind the scenes. A bit pricy, but a special day would be nice spent here. Most tables have a view of the water.

Saw this place on under the radar. Years ago it might have been great. But I think it's greatly overrated. Out-of-town hoity-toity go there. The bar is very small. And the help seems to act like they've got you over a barrel. Too high brow for my standing.
