An unforgettable wedding dinner — truly five-star dining
Chef Jeremy created a custom menu for our 21-person wedding that was as good as a Michelin-star restaurant. He kept us updated throughout planning, perfected every dish ahead of time, and was incredibly accommodating with both meat and fish main courses.
Our menu included:
Caprese and antipasto skewers, panzanella salad, lemon-ricotta ravioli with brown butter and sage, veal osso buco with creamy polenta and asparagus, branzino with asparagus, and panna cotta with raspberry topping.
Every course was perfectly executed, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Our guests are still talking about it! Jeremy’s professionalism, creativity, and passion made our wedding meal truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

We came here for dinner while on vacation. We were seated right away, we did have a reservation. The staff was amazing, informative and friendly. They go above and beyond to get you information if you have an allergy. The food was amazing!!!! We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. Everything was rich and cooked to perfection. Also, the atmosphere was amazing. I loved being able to stand out side and see a million stars.

I have always loved this Fitz. It is one of 2 places I eat in the Keweenaw. The staff is incredibly kind & work their tails off to ensure every guest is happy. The food is so good, I dream about it. The pickled vegetables, brisket and Mac and cheese are my favorites. The ribs are so good, I drool ordering them. I also love the atmosphere right on the beach. You can show up dressed up for a special occasion, or relaxed with your friends. I cannot wait for my next meal here. FYI if ordering Togo, you can only order online through the toast app which requires a card and it’s a limited but tasty menu. Keep up the amazing work this season. Looking forward to eating here again.

This is a gem! Amazing barbecue, delicious pickled vegetables and coleslaw. Maybe the best barbecue I’ve had - spare ribs and pulled pork. Great view of Lake Superior
This place completely caught us off guard - in a fantastic way. Thought we were going to get standard UP bar food, with a nice view of Lake Superior. Instead, wife was treated to some type of north African chicken dish, that was out of this world delicious! I had a brussel sprouts salad, with smoked brisket. The staff were so friendly and the small bar cafe very comfortable. Surprised to learn they're open year round except November.

I came in for dinner, no reservations. Walked in and got a table. Amazing amazing place totally recommend. It's a must ! Reason for 1 star is: I asked and paid for beer glass to my collection. Got it but forgot to take it. I emailed the restaurant, got a email back that they will send it. I offered to pay for shipping and what ever else. Been told it will ship. 2 months later and multiple emails send with no response....

Ordered brisket. It was dry and cold. Baked beans were cold. Green beans were fine. Waited 30 minutes to get a drink from the bar. Drink sat on bar for 20 minutes before it it was served. I am a local and this place used to be great. I will not be coming back even if it’s free.

Went here for our 30th anniversary and my birthday. They ask you when you make the reservation if it is a special occasion. They take $20 for the reservation. When e arrived asked to wait for a table closer to the water. They sat us at a table in the back of the restaurant with the bar to my left (yes shaking drinks in my ear) and the door to my back. They had no less than 3 tables open near the lake the whole time we were there. The smoked meat was good, the special was akin to Shepards pie. Based on description expected it to have more vegetables but just had small chips of carrots. Hush puppies were cooked in same grease as fish or maybe we’re supposed to taste like fish but were overcooked. Didn’t get my $20 reservation deposit credited against my bill but was so unhappy with the whole experience I forgot to ask. I will never return.
