I don’t think there is enough I could say about this place…only that it is hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Period. Forget fancy restaurants in Chicago, New York, Paris, Amsterdam…this place beats them all. We drive up to the UP several times a year from Western Michigan, and for most part, one of the things I look forward to most is a meal at The Fitz. Summer or winter the meal, atmosphere, and service is always top notch and never disappoints.
Sometimes you get lucky and stumble upon a hidden gem. We spent 2 nights in hotel room 6. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The building itself is right on lake superior beach. The rooms face the west and you get beautiful sunsets every night.

We stayed at the Inn and had made reservations at the restaurant for dinner. It's one of our favorite spots to visit when in the area. The selection of alcohol, plus the quality and variety of food options are just amazing. The staff there are always beyond friendly and helpful. Our room was so cozy and very modern.
