Food is great! I had shrimp and salmon with rice they also have great steak fries I hear!

Such a cute restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious.

Restaurant itself is little on the small side, harder to find open tables when patio is closed.

Great food & atmosphere! Loved getting a pitcher of Prickly Pear Margaritas for the table! They were packed and had to flag down server once but she did a great job. Only was a little bummed they didn't do anything special for my birthday last night.

El Cerrito Cocina Mexicana serves up delicious, authentic Mexican flavors in a warm, inviting space. The margaritas hit the spot, and the food is flavorful and well-prepared. it's a great place for a tasty meal. Worth a visit!

I’ve come here several times with different people and the food is always good, cocktails are good. Price is decent. One of the better ones in the area. The service is just okay. My cocktail the other night was served in a glass that had chips all around the rim, not just one chip. The one rim was basically chipped which I found really offputting.

Absolutely incredible experience. The carne asada and the bisteca cerrito were superb. A true culinary delight. High quality, fresh ingredients with outstanding flavor profiles both complex and subtle. The steak is peerless. This may be the best steakhouse in Michigan. Well seared, cooked to temperature and of the utmost quality. This was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Great service. Welcoming and warm. You don’t want to miss this !!!!

We brought our three grandchildren there with us bc we love theColdwater mi location. And we are going to keep loving it. 5 people at the table every one gets their food but me I ordered a salad. No one comes back to check on us 10-15 min later I flag down our waitress oh I’m sorry it got taken to another table I can have them make you another one 🤬 I said forget it. The point of us going as a family was to eat as a family everyone else was half done. Terrible service. Never had this happen @ other location.

The food at best was a 4 out of 10 being good.The staff was not on the same page, We went there because friends said it was good.Must have been a Joke on me.

Great food and margaritas! I had steak fajitas and the portions/price were fantastic. Some of the best homemade chips & salsa to start as well!

If you need an outdoor, summertime setting, this place is great, but I gotta say, it feels like the food is a little 'phoned in'. Having eaten here multiple times, it's highly unlikely we'll return - that is unless we need an outdoor setting for cold beers - the food just isn't that great.

Got the burrito fiesta. Meat was very dry and tough. Not much for flavor. The tortilla shell was old and dry. And it wasn’t cheap. Chips and salsa were good.
