This is by far the best Chinese food I've had in years! All the ingredients are fresh and the flavor is perfection! The food comes out piping hot and is absolutely delicious!! I'm really sad that the owner spends her days here alone, I really don't want this gem of an eatery to disappear and close. Whoever sees this, please help her save her business and go get some amazing cuisine!

Amazing owner. So friendly — one of the best places in town. Food is amazing and I feel so welcomed whenever I walk in!

Great place for consistent, delicious food. I go after class and usually it’s busy, but my order always comes out on time, and hot. Would recommend.

This is my go-to Chinese restaurant in town. The owner is one of the main chefs and really cares about the quality of the food.

Arguably the best orange chicken I’ve ever had, and the woman behind the counter was a pleasure. Couldnt be more pleased.

Our office ordered as a group. When we originally called we told them we had 7 orders to place (our office always orders as a group) the women who took the orders were very rude. Upon getting our food back to our workplace the meat were all over cooked, dry, and hard. Every single egg roll we got were all burnt and too hard to eat. You would think a place would appreciate our business but I guess not. We will not be ordering again from them and will tell all of our co-workers and others not to as well. Money wasted on food we can't even eat because it's too hard. Lesson learned I guess.

This is the worse Chinese restaurant I have ever been! Shrimp vegetable deluxe doesn’t comes with sauce, it is just plain water. It only comes with 6 pieces of small shrimp. The egg-roll is BURNT! What a waste of my $8 lunch! I would not recommend this place.

The owner is so wholesome! We chat for 10-15 minutes every time I pick up food. The orange chicken is tasty. Super reasonable price too!

Well, I thought I’d give it another try my second time here. The first time was lack luster but we were just starving and cared little. Second visit proves worse. Way worse. Enough to drive me here to letcha know! I am literally eating rice with an egg in it for my dinner. Why? The crab meat and cream cheese wontons were crab meatless. I understand they use imitation crab but even THAT was missing. Opened every one and only chive looking things/pieces and cream cheese filled then. They were soggy and the sweet and sour (red sauce) was unimpressive and NOT homemade. Just a bowl of red jellied sugar. Not good. The sweet and sour chicken was soggy, dry and was like biting into a shoe. I could not chew pieces and was completely inedible. The vegetables; carrots, mushrooms and onions were limp and seriously OLD. If you don’t have enough self respect for your business to present fresh vegetables (easiest thing to do) then you need to throw in the towel and close shop! Disgraceful. The carrots were unbelievably old, limp and gross. Possibly a month old or more. (Speculation)Never been so disappointed and to wait 35minutes, pay over $20 and tip $5! Yeah, I’m the fool. I would expect so much more from a Gas Light Village Chinese spot. Man, what a disappointment. The Cherry Coke was perfect. I called and while he was apologetic I sensed they new it was “***** food. Shaking my head. Lost customer and avoid avoid avoid.Foo Noooooooo (stay away)

I am in love with this gem of a restaurant. The owner is so friendly, she will make you feel like you've been friends for a long time. The food is delicious and taste like it was made with love, care and pride, like a home cooked meal. This place is really busy during lunch so if you come during that time you should definitely get a lunch combo. The price is unbeatable and your food will be ready faster. My family likes the regular dinner menu so when we ordered that during lunch time the wait was about 40 minutes for pickup. Give this place a try. The food is so good and the price will make you even happier!

This restaurant has quick service, is well priced, and is consistently delicious. The owners are friendly. The indoor dinning area is very small. I have only ever gotten take out from Foo Yen. I have had there food many times and have never had a bad experience.
