This place was so nice! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was calming and reminded me of being back home in Hawaii. The customer service was good and friendly. I can't wait to come back for more! Hope to see this business thrive! Highly recommend for anyone interested in Hawaiian Cuisine!

Some of the best food I’ve had in Michigan. The Spam musubi was great, and the bbq short ribs were seasoned well, melting in your mouth. I also had the tofu stir fry which was phenomenal, and our server was great. Would highly recommend going here to anyone interested in Hawaiian food.

When you place your order online they forget to give it to the Chef, then lie and tell you the app said not to have it ready until 7pm. But you have a text message saying your food will be ready at 6:37pm. Lying it literally the worst thing to do. Take accountability and apologize it goes way further. We will not be eating here again after this experience no matter how good the food is.
Overall the experience was very lackluster given the reviews, I know this is on a college campus but paper plates for eating apps is very weird, the deep fried spam was extremely heavy and the rice within tasted like gas station sushi. The pulled pork did have a lot of flavor but dish really needed an acid since it was all very heavy. The atmosphere was also so open and quiet that it was uncomfortable to talk without everyone overhearing.

We have visited this restaurant a few times since it's opening, and every dish we have had is fantastic! Spam musubi, chicken katsu, Hawaiian Mac salad, there are no bad choices here. Quiet and cozy atmosphere, the servers are always warm and welcoming. One of the best hidden gems on Campus/Lansing area.

We very recently returned from our first trip to Hawaii where, among the many great experiences, we found a lot of wonderful food. On a whim I Googled "loco moco near me" and Aloha Cookin' was the first result. It turns out to be a relatively small place with kind of a small restaurant/diner vibe. Of course I had the Loco Moco and my wife had the Huli Huli chicken. Both were excellent and the sides of cucumber salad and macaroni salad were completely on target as well. Service was prompt and friendly, portions were sizable and the price was reasonable. The menu contains many other items we are anxious to try, beginning with some intriguing sounding pokes., the soul negative was a lack of many clear vegetarian choices. Whether you have experienced and miss great Hawaiian food or would like to try it out for the first time, you should give this place a try. We will certainly be going back and working our way through the menu!

Vegan option clearly marked on menu. I ordered the Vegan Poke Bowl. It was delicious. Be sure to ask which sauces are vegan-friendly if you want to order vegan.

I really wanted to try this place. It was quiet on a Saturday and playing Hawaiian music. But our server could not confirm that my food had been friend with shellfish or not. We let her know about my allergy before being served, but she still brought it out anyway. After double checking, she confessed she didn’t know if it had been fried using the same oil or not. If I had not double checked, I could have suffered from an allergic reaction!
