We tried the beef and pork bulgogi and they were both on point. The side dishes is what elevates the whole experience. Unlimited sides which taste fresh and are very healthy. Would definitely recommend!

My food came out cold… but it was okay because I used the table thing to heat it up(not a dish supposed to be cold). Heated it up with my meats. Server was really nice but seemed overworked and super busy.

Cozy little place with the little grills in the tables to cook your food. Quick on service and refills. Generous portions of food.

The proteins provided were frozen, which I have never received at a Korean BBQ restaurant. We had to thaw the meat while cooking it on the grill, which is not the norm. I do not think I will be returning.

Food is flavorful, fresh, and outstanding! We love to use the bbq to cook beef bulgogi at the table. The bonchon sides are excellent, and there is always something different to enjoy each time we eat there! This is by far my favorite restaurant in East Lansing, especially before football games! Please keep up the great food and service!

Baps is a cool place. Modestly upscale, fun ambiance, and cheery, attentive staff. That's probably the best part. Slightly pricey for what you get. There are less expensive, equally tasty options in East Lansing. The quality and quantity of meat is just average. They also tack on additional charges for things like more lettuce (??) if you're wrapping your BBQ. Yet no upcharge for more rounds of banchan. It seemed odd to us. There is no easy street parking in this area of East Lansing, but you can use one of the nearby parking garages.

(Yummy!) (Great service!)Atmosphere: (amazing vibe!)I loved, loved, loved the experience at BAPS Home Style Korean BBQ Cuisine 밥스 식당! Located in Lansing, Michigan, this restaurant gives you the opportunity to sit around the table and grill your own food. Amazing! The food was awesome! I enjoyed grilling Ribeye, Porkbelly, Boneless Shortribs, and marinated Pork. The rice rolls and super spicy chicken wings were a hit as well. The only downfall of the grill was that it was electric and we had to cook on a piece of parchment paper, but other than that, the food was outstanding! The service was phenomenal! There was one staff member who was supervising two large parties, explained the menu plainly, and didn't miss a beat in serving. She was great! The atmosphere was my favorite! Very homie, great decor, lovely lights, grills, flags, and great vibe! The restaurant was amazing! All in all, BAPS Home Style Korean BBQ Cuisine 밥스 식당 was very good. I throughly enjoyed the experience.Vegetarian options: Large vegetarian options on the menu.Parking: Parking is difficult to find in this area.Kid-friendliness: As much as adults, kids would love the experience at this restaurant. Nice kid-friendly menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice space for wheelchair accessibility.

It took a while to get menus and to order our food. Fortunately, the food arrived quickly and it was delicious. We enjoyed the bibimbop, bulgogi, and the sweet & spicy wings. Plus, the sides were perfectly spiced. Looking forward to returning for more chicken bulgogi with the broccoli and radish mixed in!

If you've had good Korean food before, you WILL be disappointed. The Lansing area still does not have a single Korean restaurant worth visiting. I drive out of town to get my KBBQ fix. A big chunk of the good reviews have to be from people who have never had authentic Korean food or just have low standards. A good amount of these reviews are also from people who know the owner and servers (past and present). How do I know? I know someone who used to work here (terrible human being btw) and she told me and many others to leave a good review and to mention her name. ?

The food and customer service, were some of the best I've experienced since 2020. We did the self cook on the flat top. It's a favorite way to dine. The portion size was great, we chose 3 types for 3 adults, and still had leftovers. If you're in the Lansing area or willing to drive for some great food and amazing service, this is the place for you.

I visited BAPS Home Style Korean BBQ Cuisine for the first time last week and I was very impressed by the quality and variety of the food. The restaurant is located in a convenient spot near the MSU campus and has a cozy and modern interior. The service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were generous.I ordered the spicy pork belly and kimchi tofu stew and spicy chicken wing, which came with a grill on the table and a selection of side dishes, such as kimchi, bean sprouts, macaroni salad, and black beans. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the side dishes complemented it well. I especially liked the kimchi, which had a nice balance of spice and sourness. It came with spicy wow it’s spicy which is great. For dessert, I tried the bingsu, which is a shaved ice dish with fruit and ice cream. It was a refreshing and satisfying way to end the meal. The shaved ice was light and fluffy, and the fruit was fresh and sweet. The ice cream was creamy and delicious, and I loved the combination of flavors.Overall, I had a great experience at BAPS Home Style Korean BBQ Cuisine and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Korean food or wants to try something new. The restaurant offers authentic homestyle Korean dishes at reasonable prices, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu items.
