I had a great dinner in the Bistro 43 Grand Room Bar. Andrii, the server, provided excellent service. Jeffrey, the Cook, prepared a wonderful Mediterranean Veggie Chicken Bowel. Also, the Grand Room has amazing interior design. They serve non-alcoholic beer. It an excellent—often overlooked—East Lansing dinning experience.
We were planning to meet family at 1130am for a birthday celebration and the first to arrive learned the restaurant was open only until 12pm for brunch. The staff went to work to accommodate us anyway. The food was fantastic, the servers were friendly and professional. The restaurant manager, Karima saw to our every need! We would highly recommend giving the brunch a try. Worth every penny and we really appreciated having the extra time. Thanks for a great experience!
The hotel is in a great location for parents visiting MSU students. We took out son and his roommate for a quick bite at the front lobby restaurant. Two of us are vegetarians-not great menu selection. Food was average; wine list was expensive. Waitstaff were very friendly and attentive, allowing us to linger without being pushy or intrusive.
