The bibimbap at Charlie Kang's is delicious, and tastes as great as I recall from previous times eating there while in Michigan. The fresh vegetable spring rolls were nicely filled. All went down well with a lot of oolong tea. Another guest in my dinner party had the pork egg rolls with there cashew chicken. They said everything was delicious and the egg rolls were cooked perfectly.

The server was friendly and professional. He was even surprised how quickly I ate my food.

Parking is in an adjacent parking garage, but the walk to the restaurant isn't terrible.

This place has the best food ever! I mean it’s always hot, fresh, and tasty. I have so many things I want to try. I’ll be back today however for my rice and my noodles. It’s the next day and I’m still full.
Edit…. I’ve become a Charlie’s girl regular lol.
This food be so good, plenty and reasonably priced. Last waitress could have done better.

Was waited on after 30 min from sitting down. I don’t even leave a reviews but the table next to us was served water and waited on before we were even seen and we there for at least 20 min. Don’t understand what the issue was but was very strange. Tried to be polite but pointed out the occurrence. He said sorry for the wait and that was all. Was worried my food would be tampered with and didn’t know he would do the right job for us. Again never leave reviews like this but this was very disappointing.

Easily veganized options. Ordered the steam veggie dumplings and the sesame tofu dish.

Haven’t been back in years—still just like we remembered. Prices are fair for a college town, portions are decent. Mapo tofu and beef chow fun are solid picks. Skip the Chinese broccoli. Between Mongolian beef and chicken, definitely go beef. As someone who usually eats authentic Chinese food, this is about as guilt-free as Americanized Chinese gets.

Great food (authentic taste), but very poor service. Had to wait 15+ minutes for someone to get the order, and had to wait 10+ minutes or so to get the food. The staff don't communicate with each other or seem very busy. Be ready to wait a lot, and wouldn't recommend if you're a small group, cause they seemed to favor 4+ groups or older folks (probably for tips). It would've been 1 star if not for the good food and portion.

An all time establishment at East Lansing. I had the opportunity to come back here nearly a decade after graduating and the food was still delicious and affordable

Super nice folks and the food was really good! I got the beef chow fun. The portions are very generous, as well!

Charliekangs is an East Lansing OG. Good Korean and Chinese food and the manager is awesome there. I would recommend eating their breaded chicken dishes at the restaurant though. The breading can get soggy in delivery. My favorite is their Mongolian Beef.

The best Chinese food in town! 🐲🍜

Their Galbi-tang the de bomb. Served in a stone bowl with rice and complimentary small dishes.
