This is an awesome place with nearly a hundred years history. The staff was amazing. Jade took me around the restaurant and pointed out pictures and memorabilia on the walls. It is a large restaurant with plenty of room, and a full bar. The onion rings are very good. My husband had a gyro and was very satisfied. We will go back to try dinner. Very atmospheric with vintage details. Associated with many years of Michigan State alumnus. Check out their history and unique food items.

We ate here today for the first time in a long time. Ordered fried zucchini, which tasted nothing like Zucchini. Not sure if it was the oil or breading. I ordered fried calk liver. If you are a liver person,you know it has it's own unique flavor. This was like eating cardboard. Had no taste at all. Mashed potatoes were good. Wife ordered soup and brought out salad instead. They fixed that right away. Waiter didn't check on us the he should have. Was with drinks a couple of times. Also,we were only ones in the room.Definitely not what we remember from before. Not sure how long it will take me to come back.

It has been a year since we been here. We decided to go again. A year ago, it was much better. This evening was not a pleasant experience and we do not plan to come back. First, we ordered a Hot Turkey, waitress allowed us to and then said “Oh yeah we are out of mashed potatoes so it will just be turkey, gravy, and bread. Well, you cannot really sell that at full price when it’s missing the potatoes! Was an odd thing! Decided to get the Turkey Club. Unfortunately, that comes with thick cut turkey which was not mentioned on the menu. I personally cannot stand thick cut turkey on a club and would have never ordered had it stated this in the menu that it was thick cut. My spouse ordered a BLT that came with lettuce and tomato and 2 tiny pieces of bacon, just 2 tiny pieces!!! The fries were soggy cause they placed the pickles under the fries! All in all this place has gone down hill in a year. No intentions to come back again.

Fish and chips, excellent. Tartar sauce had a scary skin on top, coleslaw was ok. Pizza was top notch. Tandem cider smackintosh was an 11! Was there 2 days earlier gyro meat was overdone. Fried chicken was delicious. Onion rings are ?.

We booked a Father's Day (eve) reservation for our family. We were seated in the back room, lots of windows and light. Great food, reasonable prices. The waiter was attentive without being obnoxious. Empty plates quietly disappeared. We had a great time!
