Detroit Frankie's Wood Fired Brick Oven

Detroit sold and is now called Saddleback Pizza. Flavor is ok, price is high and service while nice is sad. 45 minutes to wait for a pizza - ok no problem but to arrive at the store and find 8 employees standing around and be the only person waiting for a pie? Come on get it together. And no not worth the wait.

Amazing pizza!! Passing through on my way home to Maine and a friend who lives in the area insisted we try Detroit Frankie’s. I’m so glad we did!! The pizza was amazing! We tried a few different options and they were all great! And better yet was the hospitality shown by Frank and his crew! If I’m ever back in the area, I will most definitely be back!

Amazing Pizza! Must try! Order early because they stay extremely busy but definitely worth the wait.

Good service and great pizza!!!! I look forward to trying all their specialty pizza. The brick oven pizza makes the crust perfect. I cannot say enough, this place is a must try and should be anyone's go to pizza place instead of the big corporation pizza.

The best pizza in West Lansing. Try the specialty pizza, you will not be disappointed. If you Ate then go back to the big franchise pizza you are accustomed to. This is what real pizza is suppose to be

This is some of the best pizza we have ever had! The crust was crispy yet soft perfection. We tried the dill picke pizza which was amazing and the chicken and waffles pizza which was perfect flavor while not being excessively piled with ingredients. They gave some of the best customer service, they opened the door for customers, ran out to vehicles for curbside pickup, provided food recommendations, and ensured we enjoyed the food. I hope they expand to some additional locations closer to where we live!

I eat here pretty much every time I come back to Lansing haha! It's the best pizza in town and the customer service is unbeatable. The staff are so kind every time I order and pick up my pizza. Detroit Frankie's is my standard for amazing customer service!!!

We recently moved to the west-side and found Detroit Frankie's by chance. We're fans of brick oven pizza with a little burn to the crust and a thin but not cracker crust, and that's what Frankie's gives you. We have ordered multiple times over the past few months and have only been disappointed when we called and they were closed. Their carry-out experience is great; the pizza will be done when they tell you it will be.

The pizza was excellent and the ingredients were fresh. Several unique combinations.

Best pizza in town, by far. Ordered 4 different specialty pizzas, and they were all excellent. Coming back to try the rest.

Went for the first time last night. Hands down the best pizza we have had in the Lansing area. Crust is perfect, can’t beat the wood fired flavor either. Highly recommend Detroit Frankie’s! Thank you for a great experience!

I have only been here twice but this place is Amazing! We went in and built our own pizza and it tasted awesome! We also had the pesto squares and that tasted so good!

Hands down the best pizza ever made! The pb&j breadstick!!!! OMG will always be returning!!!!My fiancé never has anything good to say about food from anyone else let alone him self and I heard the words “that was actually really good!!!” Double take moments deserve to be recognized. Congratulations I think you guys hit the big time. Award winning place no more Little Caesars for me and my family

Have to admit I was thrown off a little by how friendly the owner was..lol It almost seemed like they were desperate. BUT after getting my pizza and cheese bread I can see why this place is liked by so many. It looks like they’re helping out the bar next to them with food which is a great idea. I had a really good experience over all, went and had a drink while I waited for my pizza. I would have gave 5 stars but the bottom was a little to well done on both the pizza and the cheese bread, could be the brick oven, but regardless I’ll definitely be coming back!
