The teas here are awesome, but usually have to take my business to Starbucks down the road because they don't open early enough.

I’ve visited here on many occasions, the drinks are awesome. However after today I will not be returning… me and my husband came on a date here a few days ago. I ordered my drink in detail. The girl up front took my order, and after receiving our drinks I realized it was wrong, and was missing the syrup. (This drink was only three ingredients) So I had my husband take it back to the counter. The girl at the counter argued with him on how I misspoke and he will have to buy another. He’s so lovely that he bought me another but we will not be returning.

This place is loud if you just want to hang around and catch up. Not that kind of location. Just grab your bubble drink and go.

I wish I could leave a positive review Ding Tea and Trowbridge in general, especially since I have deep-rooted ties to this particular location. I fondly remember visiting Goodrich's Shop Rite with my grandparents weekly and regularly shop at Fresh Thyme myself. I love Blueowl and Ding Tea is one of the best shops in the area, unfortunately, due to multiple recent experiences, I can no longer support these businesses. For Ding Tea specifically; While drinking Tea at this shop someone scratched up my car in the parking spot and left. None of the staff could tell me who to contact to see if there are any security cameras in the parking lot that may have captured the incident. Their tea is excellent, they are great at recommending selections if you are inexperienced, and the place is wonderfully decorated. However every time I have gone in there it smells strongly of chlorine. For other businesses: I was planning on going grocery shopping at Fresh Thyme after going to an hour long class, it was a Tuesday afternoon so there were plenty of parking spots, and an hour is not an excessive amount of time to leave your car parked. When I get back my car was towed. While I appreciate that some Fresh Thyme employees were helpful, the manager I spoke with was dismissive. He refused to tell me who might have towed my car and seemed annoyed that I wasn’t aware of the towing company this particular lot uses. His lack of assistance only added to my frustration.( I do not know if he called specifically or if it was the owner of the lot the manager said he was not at liberty of saying, but either way he was rude and unhelpful) This manager also was not wearing a name tag. I had to pay $326 (not including cab fare) just to retrieve my vehicle. This experience feels particularly targeted, as I have parked here multiple times and gone to class before going shopping without incident, often in a newer model car. It seems like students, who primarily support many of these businesses, are being unfairly penalized. Save your time, car value and money and support other businesses in East Lansing who actually prioritize their customers' experiences and values your time. I would not have written these reviews if these experiences did not happen within a couple months of each other, but these types of issues seem to be prevalent to businesses located in this particular lot.

I haven’t visited yet. I have only ordered via DoorDash. I have tried three drinks. The mango milk tea, strawberry milk tea, and the brown sugar coffee latte. I didn’t know that all the boba and tapioca and jellies need to be added, I assumed they were part of the drinks. Anyhow. I really enjoyed the mango milk tea and I added mango boba and coconut jellies to it. As for the rest of the drinks I was not entirely fond of. For now I am solely a customer for the mango milk tea.

The place smells strongly of chlorine upon walking in - I guess that's a "clean" smell rather than otherwise... but it's weird. I like smelling coffee when walking into a coffee store, or sugar in a donut place, or tea in a tea house. It was towards the end of the day, so maybe they were cleaning up.

My first experience at a boba house, I always get the very basic milk tea with boba. Based on previous experiences, I usually start with half ice and half sugar, and that always hits my tastebuds right. Ding did it for me - very strong in the very basic.

My group ordered a bunch of other stuff, and no one had any complains. We had a great time sitting and chatting and enjoying our drinks.

Love this place!
I was walking by chance and decided I needed something refreshing ? and so I did found it!
The cashier was so nice, the tea was so delicious ? and the bathroom was very clean.

It would be a plus if they had tables for 1 or 2 people!

They accept cash and card.

Parking: It has a retail parking only sign.

Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk has a ramp for wheelchairs ♿️ But it may be a Lil difficult to enter the store.

We've tried many tea places in East Lansing, but this is our favorite! The tea tastes so much better than other places, and they offer a good variety of products and flavors on the menu. Everyone is kind also and I have yet to have a bad experience there. Definitely my first choice for milk tea or boba in East Lansing.
