Typically love Hopcat! Usually go to the Detroit location. While at the East Lansing store last week for the first time… the service was great, super friendly staff and drinks were made perfectly. However, when it came to the food… both my boyfriend and I received burnt/old fries that honestly tasted like they were made way earlier in the day and thrown back in grease to heat them back up. For my main, I got their featured Bruschetta Turkey Burger… it did not hit for me....

Visited twice in one day- hit both happy hours! Came back for the second because the service by Shane was spectacular! We also enjoyed the handsome manager man who looked like Paul Rudd- he even played Chinese finger trap with us on the way out- a prize we won at Pinball Pete’s…
Hope you enjoy the griffin claw googly eye we left behind ;)

We had a party of 15 and service was not good. We got our food and half of dishes were cold and no silverware so had to ask. Drinks weren't filled up unless we asked. I have been there before with only 4 people and it was great. I will give it another chance.
