My wife and I have been ordering Marco's pizzas from the site on Lake Lansing road in East Lansing for years and they have been great. On Valentine's Day, 2025 she asked if we could get a Marco's Pizza instead of going out. That proved to be a big mistake. The Pizza we received was one of the worst we have ever experienced. it was very disappointing and not typical for this Marco's location. So sad, we'll probably not order from this location again!

I ordered a large pizza to be delivered to the hotel we were staying at. I called back to add on breadsticks. I ordered at a little after 10 p.m. pizza arrived shortly before midnight. The pizza arrived cold, and the breadsticks were burned. This usually was a good location, but, as of late, the quality of service and food have really downgraded. I give every situation the benefit of doubt, but whoever made these breadsticks and thought it was exceptable needs to be reprimanded. When I called to express my displeasure, the worker told me " oh, I'm sorry it wasn't made to your liking." I will definitely be calling corporate and sending these pictures!

2 hours for the driver to get here with the pizza. Called store location multiple times but some how no one knows how to do a refund. Now store is refusing to do anything but store credit. Like seriously? Why would I order from here agin

Upon reading other reviews- it seems like this is normal for them. How they stay in business is amazing.

Clueless, unhelpful staff, got a notification that order was ready and when I showed it was not, previously I came and they took the order when the oven was down, eta was a couple minutes for the pie but the tech was working on the oven, avoid, never again

I feel bad even writing this review because I am a long time, loyal customer of the Lake Lansing Road location of Marco's but the lack of customer service I was shown tonight has fueled my feelings to say something. I placed an order on the app at 5:35 pm tonight (10/29/2024) and at 6:47 checked the "tracking" on my order. It stated that is was "delivered' yet there was no order at my door or at any of my neighbors doors. I called this location and spoke with a young man who looked into the order, confirmed my address, stated it was delivered and he didn't know what to do about it. I waited to see if it was a "I don't know" because I'm new or an "I don't know" because I don't care. It was definitely the latter. I assured the young man that I do not have my pizzas, this has never happened before, and I wouldn't just make up a story about not receiving my order. He basically just said "well there's nothing we can really do about it".... as I went to answer back, I get a quick response of "Oh it's actually out for delivery still.... I don't know what happened there".... I chuckled and said I understand, and thanked him for checking into it. It is not 8:11 pm and the order is still not here. Called the location back and was put on hold.... sat there for a couple of minutes and then the call magically disconnected. Unreal. I love this pizza and usually am very happy with this location but this was disrespectful and rude.

Ordered pizza at 7:48 p.m. got email confirmation that pizza will be ready at 8:18 p.m. Pizza's and cheese bread finally delivered at 9:25 p.m. after 3 phone calls. Both just warm, one pizza wasn't even cut. Such terrible service. Employees don't care.

If you're looking for combative store managers for absolutely no reason, this is the place you want to call.
Trying to call in a delivery order from an address that should not be in an exclusion zone, and trying to get that cleared up, I was confronted by a hostile manager named, Jessica. Jessica decided to take it upon herself to yell at me, and argue with me over a simple request, that the other managers have not had issues with. When told that I'd be calling the corporate office I was met with, "I don't care". Not a good way to treat a customer that's been with you for 7 years.
If this is your business, you need to look into who's staffing it.

I ordered a pickup and called in right after and asked if I could change the order to delivery. They said no problem. After an hour I called and was super nice when they told me they printed out the wrong ticket and my had just been sitting under the heat lamp for 45 minutes. They rushed the stale food to my door and the driver said if there was any issues to call back in. We threw most of the pizza away because it was gross. I called back in today to say something and was told because it wasn’t same day they wouldn’t be able to do anything. It was never explained to me that I needed to call in same day and I called less than 24 hours later.

UPDATE: Called back in and spoke to the manager and explained the issue. They acknowledged this was not my fault and is willing to work with me to make things right, but still not able to fully comp the order.

I recently visited my once-favorite pizza spot, hoping to enjoy the same delightful experience that had made it my go-to place in the past. Unfortunately, this time was a complete letdown.

Previously, the pizzas were consistently delicious, with perfectly crisp crusts, generous toppings, and a delightful balance of flavors. It was a spot I often recommended to friends and family, knowing they would not be disappointed.

This visit, however, was drastically different. The crust was soggy and undercooked, and the toppings were sparse and unevenly distributed. The cheese, usually gooey and flavorful, was rubbery and bland.

The service, which used to be prompt and friendly, was now slow and inattentive. We had to wait an unusually long time before receiving our food.

It’s disheartening to see such a dramatic decline in quality and service at what used to be my favorite pizza spot. Unless significant improvements are made, I won’t be returning anytime soon.
