Patrick was great. I had Papa Crema, and I really enjoyed the smoked salmon with cream cheese! Such a good combination, and the eel sauce just combines so well.

We used to love Maru and really enjoyed their sushi. We had not been for a while and we're really disappointed with this visit. We paid almost $70 for 3 rolls and seaweed salad. Soy sauce containers were tossed into the paper to go bag. They leaked so bad the bag disintegrated. We paid $8 for a shockingly small amount (1/4 cup, maybe) of seaweed salad. Sushi rolls were not anything special. Gray/purple looking fish on top of unappealing sushi rolls with not much flavor. Done with overpriced takeout food! Save your money and get the same thing (but more) at Meijer for 1/3 of the price.

Visited from out of state & heard it was great sushi however, the food was good not great & definitely not worth the trip due to lack of service. We pretty much got our food an hour after we ordered & our waitress did not check on us once. Atmosphere is boring nothing special. Spend your money elsewhere that has more ambiance & is fully staffed. Very disappointed.

This is our first time trying Maru and we will not be returning. Although the sushi is very good, service was absolutely horrible! Our waitress didn’t give us water like all the other tables (but asked the second we finished eating) and didn’t even check on us until we finished eating! If you are looking for good and fast service restaurant…. This is not the place to go.
