Not sure why this place is rated so highly. Coffee was okay. Lighting was terribly bright and uninviting. Staff looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. Everything served in plastic.

This is a beautiful place and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a traditional Arabic coffee, a Mufawar, and a Sabaya. Everything was perfect. The drinks are piping hot and are great for slow sipping.

BEWARE!!! DONT SHOP HERE ?
It's disappointing to write this review, especially considering that Moka is a relatively new establishment. During my recent visit, I couldn't help but notice cockroaches scurrying around the dessert freezer area. This not only ruined my appetite but also made me question the overall cleanliness and maintenance standards of the place. For a newly opened coffee shop, encountering such a serious hygiene issue is unacceptable. I urge the management to prioritize pest control measures and ensure a clean environment for their customers.

I'm a regular at this place and it's awesome. The coffee shop has a bunch of different coffees and teas that I really like. Personally, I'm a fan of the Yemeni tea. I totally recommend this place - it's one of the best spots for a coffee or tea in Lansing.

This place is lovely! They actually serve decaf drinks, which for serious health issues is important for me. And their pastries are to die for! I had cheesecake, but I think they also have savory pastries too. The staff is really helpful explaining things as well. My new favorite work spot!
Great and friendly customer service!

Coffee was very good, but it came out about one degree away from melting the cup. Had to wait 15 minutes before it was even drinkable. If it wasn’t so hot it’d be 5 stars.

Wonderful addition to East Lansing coffee shop scene. Has regular coffee drinks, but I go for the specialty Yemeni coffee drinks. Have not tried pastries but they look good. Airy and bright interior with nice views of the main college town strip, Grand River (right across the street from Zaha Hadid’s Broad Art Myseum!). Friendly service.

The most delicious pastries I’ve ever had! The workers help to explain the coffee and the menu, and were overall very nice. I’ll be coming back far too often!
Oh and the coffee was phenomenal as well- obviously.
Dietary restrictions: They have other alternatives to milk! Which I and my stomach greatly appreciate.
