This place is obviously known for dairy. But 99% of people who go here are here for the ice cream. And it makes sense. Best ice cream I've had. The waffle cones are a must. Buckeye Blitz, And Spartan Swirl are definitely the best two. (They might be gone they are known for replacing flavors.) Must do if your here in MSU.
The Dairy Store at MSU always has long lines but moved pretty quickly. They have about 12 flavors on any given day from what I could tell. I tried the Raspberry with chocolate truffles it was good creamy and soft, but I would not say it is the best ice cream I have ever had. I prefer the ice cream at the Milwaukee Zoo if I am being honest. Service is great and portion sizes are good.
Awesome ice cream and great serving size for the price! Their sorbets aren't as good as the ice cream though and unfortunately they got rid of my favorite flavor, butter pecan :(
