Ahhh the quintessential college bar. Ordered 2 beers and nearly fell over when the bartender said it was 4 bucks total.....then I tasted it....it was actually worth 1/2 of that. But if you are a college student (I am not) then this is the place to be.
Was there for St. Patricks day. Floor had spilled drinks all over it, mens bathroom had piss all over it. Got charged for a double jack and coke when I ordered a single and got a single. But good atmosphere and selection of beer.
So far as East Lansing bars go, you probably won't get any better. It strikes a good balance between crazy college bar and chill lounge, but don't expect the best drinks in the world. Anything involving sour mix is going to be VERY sour. And not very alcoholic. Still, a good place to meet up with friends for a game of quarters.
