I came here specifically for pho but ended up falling in love with their bánh mì as well. The pho broth is incredibly well-balanced — rich and savory with just the right depth of star anise and cinnamon, the kind of broth that tastes like it has been simmering all day. The noodles were silky and didn’t clump, and the slices of beef were tender enough to almost melt. The fresh basil, lime, and bean sprouts added the perfect brightness. It’s the kind of bowl that warms you from the inside out.
The bánh mì was just as impressive. The baguette had that ideal combination of a crisp outer crust and soft, airy interior—light, not heavy. The pickled carrots and daikon were crunchy and tangy, balancing nicely with the savory grilled pork. The smear of pâté added a rich, slightly smoky depth, and the cilantro gave it that fresh finish. Every bite had a mix of textures—crunchy, tender, fresh—and flavors that worked together beautifully.
Friendly service, clean atmosphere, and prices that feel well worth it for the quality. I’ll definitely be back — this place does comfort food right.

We went it for our lunch around 1:30pm. The tables were sticky. The worst thing that happened was the waiter. He kept giving us looks and lowkey scolded my friend. The food was meh. The meat ordered for no.103 can’t even be cut with a knife. Whenever we say thank you, he gave us an attitude instead. Maybe he does not like his job. Even the way he hands things is rude. Never going back again.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at Pho Sol when we first arrived in East Lansing. Our host/server was very knowledgeable and kind. The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. The flavors were incredible. A must must dine in.

Friendly staff but the Flavor was “off” on top of that I didn’t have the money to leave a tip (I usually do I just didn’t have the funds) and they auto applied a $10 tip after me writing down $0. Directly stole money from my account now I’m in negative.

Super nice and kind staff. I had the Ox Tail pho and it was delicious! I accidentally made a mess but the waiter never made me feel stupid. He could have swore at me but he was kind instead. I offered to help but he insisted I didn't have to. I tipped extra. Highly recommend you check it out sometime!
