These guys used to be really good, food and service. The food is semi still the same but you get a bad bowl every once in a while but the service, oh god. Actually terrible. They are so rude and dismissive. Never have a smile on their faces, never say thank you, and always seem irritated to do their jobs. A guy came in right after me today, ordered 5 bowls and the staff proceeded to walk around with his receipt whispering about his order and rolling their eyes. One girl literally slammed her hands on the counter. Train your staff on basic service. My friends and I take turns not having to be the one to go deal with the service. The music is so loud, it feels disorienting in that small of a space. Love the food but it’s getting so difficult to keep going here. I hope it can get back to how it used to be!

The smoothie bowls are really good and fresh! They’re a must try if you like smoothies. I was disappointed by a misleading or false advertisement and I wouldn’t recommend relying on their text deals if you plan to visit in person. I received a text that said ‘All bowls are 50% off tomorrow 6/20 at Playa Bowls East Lansing! In-store only.’ I was told they weren’t honoring the text advertising and changed the promotion to BOGO (Buy One, Get One) Half Off. I heard two other customers come in after receiving the same text and they were told the same thing. It would be helpful if you could use these types of promotions for in person pick-up orders to ensure the deal is being honored before driving there.
