This is the special gem in town. Incredible food
Amazing food and great service. Loved the dry pot.
Amazing experience!
Delicious and fresh food. Good portion sizes. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean restaurant and bathrooms.
This is a traditional hot pot restaurant.
This place quality has dropped since the last time I ate there.
The combination meat is too tough and I can't chew it.
The food truck visited our neighborhood and I got the crispy combo and 3 bao buns. The portions are very generous and the prices are reasonable. They gave me a drink while I was waiting and were very sweet and friendly to customers. Would definitely recommend the beef cilantro bao and anything with the spicy mala seasoning. I might stop by for seconds if I have time.
I ate here on May 24th, 2025, and I honestly feel like I got scammed. From the moment we were seated, the service was a complete disaster. We sat down *before* two other tables, yet somehow we were the *last* to have our orders taken. When the server finally showed up, she managed to screw up our order entirely.
And get this—everyone else was being served rice with their meals, but ours never came until I had to *say something*. Unbelievable. The food itself? Absolutely flavorless and not even remotely worth the wait. I could’ve made a better meal at home with half the effort.
To top it all off, we waited a ridiculous 10 minutes for the check while our server vanished into thin air. For a second, I seriously thought it was a self-serve restaurant. This place wasted my time, my money, and my patience.
Got sick there due to an allergic reaction (not their fault I just forgot to ask if my allergens were in anything) and the waitress we had was so incredibly sweet. She brought me water, made sure I was okay, and even patted me on the back when I was throwing up. Sweetest person ever. And the other staff were very polite as well. I would absolutely recommend this place, but please please PLEASE be careful if you have any nut allergies.
Their food truck visited our residential community today and it was AMAZING!! Our residents were raving about the food quality, portions and wonderful customer service! Thank you again!!
Authentic Chinese food. Stir fried Mala was so good. It is my new favorite place. Brown sugar bubble milk tea is recommended.!!!!!!!

Great for stir-fries! The price is not expensive! Four dishes for $69! I tipped $20 on impulse! Sweet and sour pork loin, cumin mutton, garlic shrimp, couple's lung slices. The only regret is that there is no wine!

Tried Royal pot for the first time. The server explained the menu to us and gave us a brief overview. We did2 broths, the spicy little bear and the chicken/tripe broth both were great in their own ways. They had a self serve dip bar which was fun to mix and match flavors. We did order to share the Waygu beef, the beef and lamb combo, mushrooms, noodles, and cabbage lettuce combo. Which was more than enough food for 2 people. The bill came to $98 before tip for a special dinner out this was fun. Would recommend if you have never tried hot pot before

Due to its reputation, it does compare favorably with other Chinese restaurants in Detroit, but it still has its shortcomings. For dinner plates and other dishes that require more Sichuan cuisine, you can refer to Chopsticks. The fresh pepper frog is a bit thickly wrapped in starch, but the main flavor is the bean paste. Rabbit is not very new either.
This restaurant has a rich Sichuan cuisine, including hot pot, spicy hotpot, etc., which is quite good in this area.
