I definitely wouldn’t go in here the manager makes up her own rules and policies she is definitely racist a store full of people and she said I made her a black man feel unsafe yet no one else was bothered by me her only problem was she didn’t wanna sell me 12 cookies because I needed to place a cater order first. I left went and contacted corporate and they told me I can buy 3,6,12 cookies she still refused to sell to me then she called the cops they said she was wrong and but now I’m banned from that subway because she wanted to make her own rules in someone else’s store

The manager is very rude, threatened to call the cops on me because I asked her why I can’t order 12 cookies, called me names when no where on the menu says I can’t order 12 cookies. Unprofessional, racist & clearly hates her life & job.

Worst experience at a restaurant and/or business ever. Manager is very rude, lazy and clearly hates her job. She is very rude to customers. Rather than offering to help them she shouts in their faces and threatens them. Her negative energy festers and spreads to anyone and everyone who enters “her” establishment. Buyer beware! 🤫

I have been a subway customer my whole life and a food delivery driver for the past seven years, This subway location is by far the very best one in the Lansing area. Joe and Jazz are fabulous!! They are so friendly and so wonderful to work with both as a customer and as a delivery driver.

Very rude/racist management particularly the larger middle aged white woman working on jan 29. Surprised this establishment has continued to have her under employment after the amount of people she has supposedly felt “threatened” by. Don’t go here while she’s working she has absolutely zero patience and will throw out minorities.

I had the most distressing experience at this Subway location (1100 Grand River, East Lansing). I came to pick up lunch for myself and two coworkers, but the manager—an irate, heavyset white woman—completely escalated a simple situation. She was hostile, rude, and unnecessarily aggressive when I calmly clarified a missing item from my order.

Despite remaining polite and patient, she yelled at me multiple times, falsely accused me of being a problem, and threatened to call the police over nothing. Feeling unsafe, I left before the police arrived because, as a Black woman, I feared for my life.

This behavior was discriminatory, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. I will never return to this location and urge Subway to address the racist and hostile culture here. Customers deserve respect, not harassment.

I will not go back too this location. The service was ok. Food. Its Subway. Good. But wjen nature calls. I just spent $26 and you tell me you dont hsve a public bathroom. This is a college area.

Jazzy, Jazie? was amazing, the best subway employee I've had make me a sub in while. She didn't just pile everything in the middle so you have to eat it like a taco. Also was polite and wasn't akward. Thought it was worth leaving a review after such a positive experience. "Oh-ya!"
