I've never had worse dining hall food at MSU. Fries were WAY oversalted, coleslaw was abysmal, pulled pork sandwich was also incredibly salty, and the pumpkin role was downright RADIOACTIVE. It was so bad it REPELLED my taste buds.

I was served by the chef John today and he had a really great attitude while he was shorthanded. He stayed calm and relaxed and make sure everyone’s order was right on the sandwich bar. Awesome to see great service.

I usually go there for combos, and the student worker that scans the IDs was talking with her friends and not paying attention, so I went to the drawer where they keep the plastic silverware and she was very rude to me because I didn't ask for one.

Lady with the glasses that works in the pizza line is very very rude.

One of my favorite MSU dining halls. They may not have so many options like Brody, but they stand out for uniqueness. Tandoori kitchen at Akers provided tasty South Asian dishes. However, after covid-19, food options were limited because of staff shortage. I don't know what the current condition is. Nonetheless, I hope to visit this if I am in town again.
