Stopped in when because I was in Michigan and food was absolutely wonderful and I ordered to go! They even catered to my dog, will be eating here again! The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. Highly recommended!

We used to frequent the Roadhouse after football games and I was excited to show a friend the place. Unfortunately, memory and current reality were seriously out of alignment. The Crab Rangoons, which I remembered as phenomenal, were not good (overcooked and too much wrapper with not enough filling) and neither was my friend's salmon. The grilled chicken sandwich was decent, but all in all, it was a sad trip down memory lane.

I’ve been a fan for decades but my experience today was not great. The walk and entry had not been shoveled and was extremely difficult ,not to mention dangerous , to walk, especially with a rollator I questioned it and was told it was being cleared. When we left it was still bad. They sprinkled salt which did not clear the snow but did mske walking even worse.
Food was ok. Nothing special. Pricy
The atmosphere is still nice but there are better burger places. $8 for bottle of beer seems excessive
I’ve always liked coming here but I don’t plan on returning

Historic MSU bar and restaurant. Easiest to park, no-frills, local flare.

Perfect stop before or after an MSU game. Despite being very close to campus and the frats, I've seen a lot of families in here. It feels like a welcoming place for everyone, not just hard partying young people (though they are certainly welcome here). For as large as it is, it feels cozy. You can also leave your car overnight...love that they're trying to prevent drunk driving. Their food is surprisingly good for a sports bar. I'm not a huge fan of their burgers, they're good but not especially delicious IMO. A friend really likes the veggie burgers though, so if that's your thing, check it out. The apps were scrumptious (potato bombs and cheese curds, pure Michigan baby, you can't go wrong). I've also had the club, it was huge (I split it with a gal pal and I'm not one for splitting my main dish lol) and it was yummm. Their drinks are not strong on the booze at all, the cocktails I've had tasted like straight up mixer(s). A little disappointing. I'm not a beer drinker though so maybe I'm missing out. They don't have a primo hockey package, so they don't get all the games which is a letdown (it's why I knocked a star off for atmosphere). On the plus side, the staff are so, so nice! Have had two really good experiences here and I definitely recommend you check it out.

An East Lansing staple.

Harrison Roadhouse is an East Lansing classic — the kind of spot every MSU student ends up at sooner or later. The food is solid pub-style comfort food, nothing fancy but always reliable, and the service has that friendly college-town vibe where everyone’s moving fast but still keeping things upbeat. The atmosphere is what makes it: loud, fun, and full of Spartan nostalgia. Great place to grab lunch, meet up with friends, or just feel like you’re back on campus for an hour. A staple for a reason.

Stopped in before the Spartan basketball game. We ordered a veggie wrap and buffalo chicken nachos and drinks. Plenty of food that was well prepared. Cocktails were good. The bonus is that you can park at the Roadhouse, leave your car there an walk to Breslin.

This place is a great spot for quick bite to eat. Atmosphere is on point with the college bar setting. Food was really good. Not great but really good. Kids hamburgers are decent size. Got a chicken sandwich which was tasty but needed more than three trips on onion. They toast the buns to perfection but the oil or butter they used to do it was a little off or to much was used. Salad was fantastic and server was super friendly. We will go back! It was really expensive though for what it was.

Eating here us like going back in time. 30 years ago, I went to Harrison Roadhouse on a date with my boyfriend in college. It still looks the same. Great place to watch the game.
