Food was excellent, service was fast and friendly! 10/10 will go back. Started with fried dumplings then we had the beef noodles and veggie noodles.
First time trying but definitely will not be the last.* Egg fried with rice* House special fried noodle* seaweed and chili oil wontons!!Everything I ate there was fantastic and had deep rich flavors. I haven't had a cuisine like it, excellent noodles and fresh ingredients. Loved this place!
The beef noodle soup is surprisingly delicious!Coming from SoCal, I wasn't expecting much since Asian cuisine is relatively limited in the Lansing area, but no doubt this place is as authentic as noodle soup can be! Inside there's a window to the back where you can see the noodles actually be hand-pulled. When served, it has a pleasantly soft, chewy texture as it absorbs the flavor of the broth. They have other options of noodles but I would definitely recommend hand-pulled. Add a tbsp of vinegar and sesame chili oil and the soup explodes with depth of flavor! The price is reasonable for a restaurant in downtown. The customer service and vibe could use a touch of brightness, but the food is still worth the visit!
Mulan opened recently in East Lansing and it is such a great addition to our downtown. They make their noodles in house, and you can tell how much love and care they put into their dishes. Between my party we ordered the chicken fried noodles, shrimp fried noodles, and chicken fried rice. Everyone was really impressed. Their Mango iced fruit drink was also a serve. I'll definitely be coming back soon and you should too :) PS: Portions are BIG! Hooray for not making lunch tomorrow ?
A+ for food quality & pricesmust-come for their noodlesRost duck noodle soup ($12.50) is so delicious!!!STAFF: Super sweet & friendly~~The lady introduced a lot of the menu, and showed me how the noodle will look like, awesome taste, definitely recommend!!
I ordered the wonton noodle soup through a third-party delivery service and it was delicious--some of the best noodles I've had in Lansing. (Photo is after I had already eaten several wontons and is not representative of the original quantity)
If I could give it no stars I would. I ordered the pork bun and the rice cakes with chicken. The only flavor found in either dish was soy sauce, there was no spice, no garlic, no onion, just an over abundance of soy sauce. The pork bun is literally an English muffin stuffed with pork that also only tastes like soy sauce. Not at all what I would expect when ordering a pork bun. I expected a steamed bun with delightful pork filling, with a complex mixture of flavors. Instead I got a dry English muffin, with some how even dryer pork chunks, where the only flavor to be had was soy sauce, not even a hint of any onion. Will never order here again.
This was the first time ordering. It was ok, I've had better. My husband got General Tso combo. I ordered extra spicy, it wasn't. I asked to substitute the fried rice for the lo mein but they didn't, maybe they don't do that?! I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo. The chicken was excellent, It was very tender and crispy. like some reviewers have said, the fried rice was tasteless and very dry! The sweet and sour sauce was very thin but I loved the flavor, I just dipped my chicken in it. The egg roll wasn't too bad, it was crunchy but very greasy.
Pork buns were delish! Got the veggie lo mein and orange chicken and loved it! There's lots for leftovers too
Food was outstanding! While the wait was longer then expected, the owner put in some sodas to make up for it. The food was worth the wait and we would definitely go there again.

We ordered from them through Grubhub and I wanted egg drop soup because I’m sick with a sinus infection. I ordered food for the family and I must say, this was the best Chinese food we’ve had in 3 yrs! What a gem! Thank you so much for the wonderful food and thank you Amanda from Grubhub for the delivery!!!
Great authentic food with friendly staff.
We weren't sure which version of the Cantonese duck to get. So he did half and half. The stew one? the sweeter one that came with the sauce was my preference. My wife (from Singapore) preferred the one that came with the soy sauce. Not too shabby. Still on the hunt for what will remind her of Singapore's duck, though.edit: she loved pear drink :)
why wasnt everyone wearing masks when they were touching my food ? Nasty . I hope your restaurant is shut down.
Ordered the Spicy Fried Tofu from the vegetables/tofu part of the menu; got home and received a tofu dish with meat in it. Called and was told that their vegetarian dishes contain meat and you must specify that you don’t want meat. OKAY?!?! Then it’s not a vegetarian dish it’s a meat dish. Why would you advertise a vegetarian option and then put meat in it? So, I asked if I can return my food and get the dish without meat since I don’t eat meat and at this point I’m getting worked up because the guy on the phone is making me feel like it’s my fault that I didn’t realize a vegetarian dish would have meat in it but the reorder was allowed. Get to the restaurant to pick up my order and this man greets me with: “What do you want?” No, “hi” no “how can I help you” nothing. So long review short; I won’t spend money here, there’s other Asian cuisine restaurants that have better service.
