I love the owner so much! One time, there was a literal year between my visits and he still remembered me. Another time, it was just me, the owner, and my friend in the restaurant and we talked for a couple hours. Really funny and personable guy. The food is also really good at a fair price and the decorations inside are cool and unique. Definitely visit this place, make friends with the owner, and come back!
Food was awesome, great atmosphere, not crowded, good vibes all around, feels like a hidden gem
Food was pretty good. To go cups for the soups are so convenient to carry in a car.
Went in on a rainy day, and the food was really great. The service was minimal but very kind. I ordered the Udon noodle and it was delicious. I’d definitely return
Amazing food..owner is super friendly
Very nice atmosphere ...loved the teriyaki eel
I loved this restaurant. Friendly owner, great food, and unique atmosphere. I really enjoyed the chicken teriyaki and my wife liked the beef noodle. Perfect little spot and open late!
The wait was long and at the end just told us they ran out of rice for the sushi.

Had the Ramen. Food was good, honestly the best kimchi I’ve ever had and the cabbage/coleslaw they served on the side I’m still thinking about how good a day later. The owner is friendly and hospitable.

Absolutely incredible place. Not once have I ever been disappointed. The food is beyond incredible, a perfect mix of textures and flavors, tuned to your palette . The atmosphere is fantastic, the owner is extremely pleasant to talk to, there’s always a laugh involved. The restaurant is inviting, warm, and smells delicious. Until the day I die I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone who will listen.

Lovely, chill little place for soup and bubble tea. You can also get a couple fingerfoods like fried dumplings. They do have california roll and cucumber roll but the soup and no frills bubble tea is the experience to come for (not a sushi restaurant or bakery). It's been here for decades. Tony and his wife retired but luckily his brother took over.

It's a tiny little shop and the food is wonderful. I have never had a problem here, and the family that owns it is very friendly. It's a must try

This is where the most enjoyable meals and memories were made during my study abroad period from 2011 to 2017. If you crave soup in Michigan, you can come here and have a bowl of udon and finish it off with bubble tea haha.

HEADS UP THIS IS NOT A SUSHI RESTAURANT. Having a California roll on the menu doesn’t make you a sushi restaurant.Positives: polite and helpful worker, great flavor in the ramenNegatives: definitely grody, no high chairs, weird photos of people kissing on the walls, menu is on the ceiling (?) and illegible, no kids options
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly in any manner
