This place is awesome! When compared to Sansu Sushi down the street this is the place to go for more affordable prices. The food however is on the same level! The portion sizes are great for the price too! And the tempura ice cream dessert special is quite literally out of this world. I am begging the owner to make it a permanent edition to the menu. It's that good. Don't believe me?!? Go and try it for yourself.

Menu has a lot of variety which is nice for a group of friends. I got their veggie lovers sushi which was decent but not impressive. I ordered their creamy poke which was not very flavorful and overly creamy. It was bland yum yum sauce dumped on the bowl, it needed some kind of acidity to balance the creaminess and coat the salmon well. I was dumping soy sauce in it but it still never helped balance the flavors. I ordered the chicken katsu app because I couldn’t finish the poke, it was pretty good but they didn’t give enough sauce. The service was okay but hard to get their attention.

Great place to grab sushi and ramen. The place is very welcoming and well decorated. I love the atmosphere. My favorite is the miso butter ramen and the blank garlic ramen. Highly recommend any college students or families to visit

I have Celiac Disease, and in the past I have been to Uni and it has been a very accommodating business. They have, previously, been very good about keeping things safe for people with my dietary needs. Unfortunately, this no longer seems to be the case. If you are a person with dedicated gluten-free needs, I recommend looking elsewhere. It is not worth the risk of destroying your gut.

EDIT: It happened again. I was very, very clear of the risks. I repeatedly told them about my celiac. There still ended up a glutenous noodle in my food. There is not going to be a “third chance”. I realize I should include the words gluten free so that this shows up for people searching that term.

Dietary restrictions: I was repeatedly served non-gluten-free items despite making it very clear that I have Celiacs. I am now in intense pain from the fried rice that was so generously “comped” me after three such mix-ups in one visit.
