My wife and I went to Northwoods Steakhouse for Valentine’s. We both ordered steak and it was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium) and very tender. The Valentine’s drink special ( strawberry crème martini) was excellent as was the glass of red wine. Our waiter was very attentive and answered all the questions we had. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a great meal for a fair price.

My dad took us here so I could try it. We drove an hour just to go. I got salmon broccoli and garlic mashed. Everything was hot, tasted amazing and large portions. I like to eat lol. My mom and dad enjoyed theres as well. We also got creme brulee and turtle cheese cake both were very good! The server was nice and quick and the fire place was a plus. I also really like the healthy options with good flavor. We will definitely be coming again!!

A quiet and clean upscale restaurant nestled on the edge of East Tawas. The unassuming location welcomes you with a woodsy up north feel while rewarding your appetite with high caliber dishes.The fish, ribs, salads, and filet were all top-notch. Will definitely eat here again when we are in the area.

Really good food, I had pan fried perch and chopped zucchini squash and carrots, excellent , veggies were freshly made, Crem brulee was awesome too, the staff was very friendly outgoing and helpful, atmosphere was romantic and very comforting feeling, there was a fireplace going and I liked that part too, been here a few times and have always enjoyed it, A chef works here who has been cooking for 27 years I was told today and it shows , it's fine dining , the bread there is made fresh every day I was also told , we discovered this place while on vacation this summer , and I feel we discovered a gem ,
Head the barbecue ribs they were awesome. Definitely will go back next time in that area.
