Sweetwater Wings
Chicken wings are what we do best. Marinated 24 hours, our wings are full of flavor without too much heat. We have won dozens of awards - Best Wings in Detroit HOUR MAGAZINE five years running. Best Wings in Detroit METRO TIMES, Best Wings in the State of Michigan 2018 MLIVE - WJR, Top 20 Placement in the US THRILLSEEKER, to name a few. We sell 15,000 lbs. weekly between four locations and our food truck so we are not alone in liking them. We Serve approximately 1 - 1/2 pounds of wings (weight before frying) which is about nine or ten wings depending on the size. Wings are served with a choice of bleu cheese or ranch and celery sticks - enjoy.
The Big Pig
Sweetwater's own pulled pork sandwich is tender pork, slow cooked in spices, and pulled from the bone. We then mix the pork with our special sauce and pile it high on a kaiser roll - kind of sweet with a hint of bbq served with a slice of onion and cole slaw.

Had a great experience at Sweet Water Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot and fast. Everything I ordered was delicious, and you can tell they really care about quality and customer service. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to and recommending to friends and family!

I had a great experience at Sweetwater Tavern! The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service really stood out. Our bartender (Blondie) was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and clearly knows how to make a great drink. They made sure everyone at the bar felt taken care of and added a fun, upbeat energy to the night. It’s always nice when great service makes a good place even better. I’ll definitely be back ! Best wings around!

Overall, this is a solid spot for both food and drinks and one I find myself coming back to often. On my most recent visit, I ordered the catfish and chicken tenders, while my wife went with the rib tips. Everything came out hot, fresh, and well seasoned, which is always a good sign. The catfish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, the tenders were cooked just right, and the rib tips were flavorful and satisfying.

One thing that never disappoints here...
