12/29/25 - This was my first time. Breakfast, service was excellent!!! fast & friendly wait staff, Farmers Omlett was huge + added white sausage gravy, coffee was kept full....Will definitely visit again.

My students along with my para came in for lunch today on a community outing!! My students are special needs and the service was top notch!! My students were treated like any other customers in the restaurant!! The food was amazing and I will definitely bring them back again!!

Terrible customer service. Sign said they were open until 2:30. My daughter and I walked in at 2:20 (sign said open and doors were unlocked). All three employees just stared at us until finally one got up and said “we’re closed”. She then proceeded to shut the door in my daughter’s face (she’s nine). Really sad to have experienced this passing through this adorable little town but I’ll never go back to this restaurant!

My family went there on a Sunday 7/20 at 1:30 they close at 2:30. As soon as we walked in the chef could be loudly heard from the kitchen complaining that we were there. I asked the Lady at the register if we were ok to eat there? She said yes with an embarassed look on her face. Arguing between our waitress and the chef I believe his name was Ned took place throughout the duration of our lunch. It all made for a very awkward visit.

The reason I gave 1 star overall is because you go to a restaurant for FOOD. I could almost care less about atmosphere as long as the place is clean which this place appeared to be. However, we ordered breakfast. The bacon was almost raw at one end of each piece. The ham was overcooked and tough. The hash browns were not browned. The rye toast was barely toasted.Eggs were what you would expect scrambled eggs to be. Nothing was seasoned with even salt and pepper. Thank goodness they put that on the table. And the COFFEE.....so weak it was almost like drinking water. The waitress was friendly. We wanted to like it so badly!!! Oh, and very over priced.

Purrfect Weddings
On Sunday 1/26/25, my youngest was in between 10-11. The server was short with him when he sat at the table but he didn’t think anything of it. After he and his girlfriend ate, he paid and as he was walking out the server, Brandi, followed him out the door, held the door open and harassed him for not leaving a tip. She advised him he needed a tip because she only makes 3.81 an hour and he needed to tip. She told him she remembered him from two weeks prior and he didn’t leave a tip then either. Brandi told him he was not welcome in there, not to come back and if he doesn’t want to leave a tip he should get takeout. She was shouting so loudly that cars were stopping in the road and the restaurant fell silent. Brandi was completely unbelievable. I stopped eating there for a few months with my friends because Brandi’s service was sub par and we always seemed to get her. The food has always been very good there and everyone else there is just awesome. I went in there today to speak to a manager, but there was no one available.
A couple of points the owner should take into account.
1. Sometimes kids these days are not familiar with etiquette when they go to a restaurant. I have since advised my child how tips work and only learned today that he was not aware he could tip using his card.
2. It is never acceptable for an adult to harass a kid about tips let alone complain about low pay and his responsibility to pay her more. If she doesn’t like her pay perhaps she should go somewhere else.
3. It is never acceptable for someone to ban a customer because they didn’t leave a tip. He had no behaviors that should have allowed her to ban him.
4. I hope the owners do not find this kind of behavior acceptable. Bullying a kid because she is not happy is never acceptable. Perhaps they should speak to the staff that was there and determine if this is the ripe of behavior they want represented on their establishment.
5. Thais a small town and people do talk. I am sure this will make its rounds.
If you do go and your server is Brandy, i recommend you ask for a new server.
