Amanda was incredible to work with for our wedding desserts! The “Just Married” cake she created was both beautiful and delicious—exactly what we had envisioned. Her fall-flavored donuts were a huge hit with our guests, and she went above and beyond by providing display stands and signage for each flavor. We highly recommend her!

I am glad (sort of) that I don’t live closer to this charming little bakery/cafe. If I did I would have to add an embarrassingly high line item in my budget for Amanda’s Bakeshop.

You know it is a good sign when you walk in and see a group of locals sitting, chatting, and drinking coffee.

I am a fifth generation baker, and I have to say that the doughnut I bought was among the best I have ever had. They had a great selection of local produce as well.

The staff were cheerful, friendly, and helpful.

This needs to be on your list of must do’s for this area.

I needed good apples to take to a friend's party. Amanda's has always provided us with these and I've never gone there without picking up some donuts and a pie for my husband. They didn't disappoint. Not only did my friend love the apples, my husband raved raved about the peach pie and donuts. The girls there treat you so well and go out of their way to accommodate you. They always have plenty to pick from and the prices are competitive.

Please don’t go here. I beg you their pie is the best in South Michigan and they’re donuts are very good also if you go here, I won’t be able to get all the pie lol😎

TBH, I'm not a cake donut fan. But this place is awesome and I will only eat cake donuts from here. Nice, slight crisp outer layer crunch with a light and melt in your mouth inside. The cake is on the lighter side unlike most other places I have tried. Every time I drive back to Chicago from Dowagiac, I make sure I stop in and get a dozen. Also I'm a huge fan of apple fritters and I love theirs as well.
