I had to use the restroom on our way to Tahquamenon Falls on Christmas Day and the owners were so kind to let me use the bathroom even though we couldn't stay for a drink or anything. Very nice tavern and I hope to get to visit again someday!
Mary and Rex are amazing! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and at home. The food is great. Mary keeps the place cleaner than my own home and Rex always has a great conversation to keep us engaged. We stop in whenever we can throughout the year and have never been disappointed!!

The wife and I stopped here on a recommendation from the motel down the road. We both ordered the Ms. Lumberjack Burger, which was VERY good! Fresh lettuce and tomatoes on it as well as two kinds of cheeses and ham and bacon! The wife ordered cheese sticks, and I had fries. The fries were super because they were very crispy on the outside, just the way I like them. The cheese sticks were pretty run-of-the-mill but cooked perfectly.
